About
NTE is a supernatural open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio. The story begins in the city of Hethereau, where you play as its first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter. You'll join the crew at Eibon, a rundown antique shop that keeps the lights on by taking Anomaly commissions from anyone willing to pay. Alongside a diverse cast of extraordinary companions, you'll unravel urban mysteries, ride out adventures full of laughs and heartbreak, and write your own stories in the neon-lit streets.
Welcome to the first stop in your appraisal career—Hethereau, a sprawling and vibrant metropolis!
In the crowded halls of the Bureau of Anomaly Control, hopeful Oddities queue up for resident permits, while over at the train station, an Esper commuter snaps his fingers to clean his work suit on the fly. Down one block, a chaotic chase after Danzaburou is spiraling out of control; while across the street, a vacationing silver-gloved Butler is shooting the breeze with the owner of a second-hand electronics shop. Everywhere you look, there's no shortage of intriguingly "abnormal" scenes.
Want to dive deeper into a world where humans and the supernatural coexist? Start your journey in Hethereau to see it for yourself. The lively and quirky daily life here is a grand adventure in itself.

Explore hidden shops tucked away in back alleys and meet their enigmatic owners, along with absurdly overpowered bodyguards, "jack-of-all-trades" robotic butlers, troublemakers who can't help finding problems, and TV-headed repairmen with some very curious eating habits.
As part of the Eibon crew, you'll never be short on energetic companions for the road ahead.
Expand your social circle starting from the bustling Hankaku Street! Meet members from different factions and add them as "Bagel" friends!
From the tight-knit neighborhood of street shops to the city's unique hunter organizations, countless side stories await—ready for you to make friends and forge bonds across every corner of Hethereau.
Explore the city on your own terms—stick to familiar routines or shake things up.
Customize your ride and tear through the city streets, or hop on the Ghost Train to cut through Anomaly space and arrive in a flash.
In your downtime, swing by the old shops on Hankaku Street to browse their secret seasonal stock, or buy a cozy little home and deck it out to your liking.
Go at your own pace, follow your instincts, and let Hethereau reward you with colorful days worth remembering.
GREAT GAME THAT'S GOING DOWNHILL FAST
==
-FIRST:
I am a day 1 player fom EU server, hunter level 55 with 125 days registered(So you can ignore the Steam time, I just installed it to share my experience here, I have all properties except the small $7M house and the Porsche apartment, almost all cars except LaVelox, Pursuit V8, Blizzard V4, qua and Enforcer, all blindboxes, some paid skins, all characters and their signature weapons except Chaos[I'm not interested in male characters] and Daffodill).
-SECOND:
I'm a day 1 Tower of Fantasy(ToF) player from Dyrnwyn server(R.I.P because Hotta deleted my account in which I invested more than 6.000€ due to their account migration and I had maxed all simulacras until I reached Asuka which is when I quit the game because I saw where Hotta was going, almost had all mounts and even blindbox outfits and now I have a new account on the EU WARP server and I'm quite glad that the WARP server is just farming and almost everything is free, I managed to recover many things I lost). So I'm a Hotta's OG, I know what I'm talking about here. == The game is great, decent story, beautiful map that blends nature and urban areas, you can pass the time and have some fun messing around although it certainly has a lot of limitations for a GTA clone. The biggest problem with this game is Hotta itself, at the beginning it's obvious they give free things, that happens in all gacha games to attract players(That's the most obvious thing here so you can't say it's F2Pfriendly). Now after the hype died and some time passed Hotta has begun to slowly follow ToF's footsteps. As you already know the game has 3 main currencies: Rift Crystal (Premium currency used for almost 90% of the items in the store to buy skins, resource packs or convert them to Annulite) Annulite (Currency that can be obtained for free to do character or weapon pulls) Fons (Currency used for 80% of internal game content, vehicles, skins, vehicle upgrades, properties, furniture, gifts to increase character bond and BLINDBOXES) The most problematic of all is the Fons, at first everything was acceptable you could farm the currency and have some Fons left for the next patch, enough for some upgrades, decorations or to keep saving up to get more properties, vehicles or whatever. == In version 1.1 the game launched the Porsche blindbox for 21M Fons many of us took it badly but it was reasonable because we thought that being a COLLABORATION banner it was worth the price and especially because of the psychological effect of the blindbox being LIMITED, besides all that the car upgrades cost 20M Fons in total if you want to upgrade it to the max, a total of 41M Fons. With that they also added a property worth 7.5M Fons and new furniture costing a fortune(There's an office chair that only has one interaction with the character Shinku, which only spins around in exchange for 100.000 Fons). In version 1.2 they released another LIMITED blind box, a motorcycle capable of performing jumps for around 12M Fons a reasonable price since it wasn't a collaboration and we already thought this would be the standard for blind boxes(If you play full F2P the maximum Fons per patch is around 10M to 13M Fons approximately). Now in version 1.3 they released a patch with draconian content a small house for 7M fons, more decorations, 2 vehicles(A quad for 4M Fons and a normal bicycle for 800.000 Fons, to give you some context on how messed up the prices are, the first motorcycle that goes faster than the bicycle costs 250.000 Fons), all that with a new LIMITED blindbox containing a jet ski and 3 skins which is worth literally the same amount as the Porsche blindbox 21M Fons. Since the investors(the scum of the entire video game industry) saw that the sales dropped when they launched the 1.2 blindbox, they returned to the draconian price, being a new controversy generated globally but not in China, the blind box skins have the same quality of skins costing 3M fons so the total is 9M, the jet ski is worth at least 6M to 7M fons and all that would be around 15M fons, the other 5M was a rip off especially knowing that the additional rewards were REDUCED. (In the Porsche blindbox there were a total of 13 pulls for the permanent banner, in the jet ski blindbox this was reduced to 8 permanent pulls, additionally the Porsche blindbox had a total of 600.000 Fons, while the jet ski blindbox didn't had any Fons). == The Fons are capped at 1M every 2 weeks in the Magnate Incentive Fonds, each week you have a total of 700 urban stamina which is 700.000 Fons(not counting the X2 event which is approximately 1.4M). We don't have any more coffee shops or more business to generate more passive income, we don't have any more urban stamina expansions, we don't have any expansions for Magnate incentives but we do have inflation that even GTA Online can't match and I don't care if people cry about the LIMITED blindboxes, YES, LIMITED, you read that right if you have any reading comprehension, It's something you'll probably never see again, with vehicles that have special interactions or are from collaborations and they say it's OPTIONAL(No, it's not optional, what part of LIMITED didn't you understand?). AND NO, it doesn't matter if people make excuses and cry saying that this is what happens when they remove the 50/50 and that the devs have the right to raise prices sky high because of it, each patch doesn't give you enough to get both characters and both weapons, you can only choose one per patch, you still have to pay for the other character and weapon just like in ANY GACHA GAME that releases two characters per patch. We have a shop for skins, so what's the point of putting them in blindboxes? If I want a specific skin I want to buy it, not have to swallow all the junk in the blindbox for just one skin. We have dealerships for vehicles, so why release vehicles that people could get permanently from the dealership? People will pay for them even if they're not limited, there's no need for the blindbox garbage, Will there be fewer sales? Yes, but it's better to have decent prices and attract more players than to try to keep 100 players paying draconian prices. == The game also has terrible resource management, upgrading a character as a F2P player is a real nightmare(even though I pay the BP and some resourse packs, I still find myself stuck with resources to upgrade my characters). The game's performance is awful, every patch they release makes it worse, although this isn't new, Hotta doesn't know how to optimize games, every time they updated ToF the game had and still has terrible performance to the point where it could freeze or crash the game and it also suffers from graphical bugs. To top it all off, it doesn't matter if you complain as a global player, Hotta will just spit in your face and tell you to get lost, they ONLY listen to the chinese community(It got to the point that the chinese players cried about the level 6 bond quest of Zankou, forcing the devs to edit it). So if Hotta releases a 50M Fons house or a 70M Fons Blindbox and the chinese players don't say a word, we global players will just have to deal with it and it doesn't matter if we complain about it they won't listen to us. With Ananta just around the corner and probably more gacha games surely vying for a piece of the GTA style gacha pie and given Hotta's terrible decisions, let's just say the game is going to crash and burn sooner rather than later, just like ToF and by the time they try to fix it it'll be too late just like with ToF, so dear Hotta, enjoy your moment of temporary fame because it's going to end soon If you don't do something.
