About
NTE is a supernatural open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio. The story begins in the city of Hethereau, where you play as its first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter. You'll join the crew at Eibon, a rundown antique shop that keeps the lights on by taking Anomaly commissions from anyone willing to pay. Alongside a diverse cast of extraordinary companions, you'll unravel urban mysteries, ride out adventures full of laughs and heartbreak, and write your own stories in the neon-lit streets.
◆ Strange City, Strange Adventures
Welcome to the first stop in your appraisal career—Hethereau, a sprawling and vibrant metropolis!
In the crowded halls of the Bureau of Anomaly Control, hopeful Oddities queue up for resident permits, while over at the train station, an Esper commuter snaps his fingers to clean his work suit on the fly. Down one block, a chaotic chase after Danzaburou is spiraling out of control; while across the street, a vacationing silver-gloved Butler is shooting the breeze with the owner of a second-hand electronics shop. Everywhere you look, there's no shortage of intriguingly "abnormal" scenes.
Want to dive deeper into a world where humans and the supernatural coexist? Start your journey in Hethereau to see it for yourself. The lively and quirky daily life here is a grand adventure in itself.

I actually stopped playing games like Wuthering Waves and Endfield to play this only instead. It's way better with the less grinding, and the stories are pretty unique along with cultural references all over.
Just fun to play and love exploring.

LIterally the best gacha in all aspects.
I've never played a Gacha game for more than about 5 minutes. For some reason this one has stuck and I'm really enjoying it. I've spent nothing in the game, and I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything. That's at about 10 hours into the game, which isn't very far considering how deep these games go, but for what its worth it is really friendly for people who just want to play it. I still don't understand half the events and systems... but its ok. The tutorials are generally very good once you get past the idea of all of currencies. I used Google to help figuring out some of the basics, but once I got a handle on it I started doing ok. I also don't really use most of these xp booster items... I have no idea if I should or shouldn't. I got one cool top tier character by chance, which was neat. What keeps me in this game though is the polish. The city looks incredible, and the detail they put in to everything is really quite something. Driving in the rain and people on the street are rushing to their destinations trying to get out of the rain... the random things you can just see driving around.. and the music while driving... it's all just done so well. The combat is fluid and fun, and starts getting harder once you've built up some levels. That said it isn't terribly difficult, and you can mostly button spam through it. That said, if you pay attention there's actually a lot of nuance to the abilities and synergies your team can have, and that makes it feel much deeper. So far I've got a business open and I own an apartment, so that's cool. There's tons of others you can purchase as well as you move through the game. My biggest gripe is that one of the characters in particular who features prominently in many of the quests is the most annoying, stupid little thing I've seen in a while (Taygedo). I groan every time I have to do a quest centered around him. So cheesy and cringe.. That said, once I get through that the other quests are fine and the rest of the characters are fine. Anyway I was really surprised at how much I've enjoyed this game at 10 hours in, and I'm definitely going to keep playing it to unlock more of these city systems and see how things develop in the story.

So far, this game is very fun! It's like Genshin and GTA combined, and the combat is really fun, I love the city atmosphere, exploring is so satisfying! One thing I do not like about this game is revealing outfits on some of the characters, I really wish that wasn't in the game. I recommend either getting a different outfit for a character or using a different character altogether, some of the outfits are weirdly designed. I do like Shinku though! I got her outfit too! :) And beware of the community content, it's very different from the game and overly revealing, lots of inappropriate content in the community section. :/ On another note, this game is way more generous with rewards and gacha, unlike Genshin Impact. This game is very fun and I think you should try it if you've played Genshin, WuWa, or other gacha games !
