Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 2 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Customize and expand your home on its back, then take it with you as you explore a handcrafted open world. Notmads is an open world action RPG where you fight with magic, gather resources, find loot, craft, and grow stronger as you progress.

Your beast carries your home across the world. You can stay with it or move ahead on your own when needed. It stays with you, and you can explore on your own whenever you want.

Your home is more than a shelter. Powered by its core, it lets you build magical stations, refine materials, and shape your setup as you go. Add utilities and defensive towers to turn it into a moving fortress.

You gather resources through your Magical Beam, not axes or pickaxes. Improve it over time, unlock new ways to gather, and use the materials you find to refine resources, brew potions, combine gear, and improve your setup.

You are a mage, but you are not locked into one path. Focus on one style or mix different ones. Use fire, frost, lightning, arcane power, or physical strength, and find spells with different tiers, stats, and variations. Your gear, perks, and choices define how you fight.

The world is handcrafted and meant to be explored at your own pace. You will come across towns, caves, camps, and hidden places, always looking for better loot, new materials, and the next step forward.

Play solo or with up to 5 players online. Share the same living beast, build on the same moving home, explore together, and progress in a shared world.

Lots of potential
Absolute fever dream of a game

The makings of greatness are there, but it is indeed early access.
TL;DR: I recommend it—you can buy it with confidence. Beyond having an active developer—and a developer with a public face—the game has a solid foundation. That alone makes me 1001% happier compared to other games I’ve tested. However, like any work of art, there are some flaws, and I’d like to point them out because I know the developer listens. It’s too easy to become overpowered right at the start of the game. I’m not a completionist player—I don’t "clear the map" before tackling the main quest—yet just by hitting the first few dungeons, castles, and camps, I filled my pockets with over 50k gold and 200+ health and mana potions, plus the best weapons, armor, and books available at the time. I did all this without spending a cent in shops, and I even had about 40 attribute points and 5 perk points left unspent. You gain resources and level up too easily, and the enemies are a pushover. There are so many chests packed with loot scattered throughout the dungeons; while sporadic loot drops would be fine, the current implementation makes the game boring. Getting around the map is also a hassle: there are very few teleport options, no sprint button, and no mounts. The "Beast" is adorable—I love animal companions in games—but unfortunately, I didn't see much point to it. It moves too slowly and burns an absurd amount of energy for the distance covered, so it doesn't really work as a mount; at the same time, it’s too small to serve as a base for my home. So, I basically just leave it parked next to the starting village because of the teleport point there. Game identity: I’m not sure if *Notmad* wants to be a *Skyrim*-style game—with tons of loot and human-populated settlements—or a survival game focused on resource gathering. Given the absurd amount of loot found in dungeons, I saw no point in gathering resources, except to build chests or complete the introductory quests. In my humble opinion, the dev should either go all-in on abundant loot and completely remove the base-building and resource-gathering elements, or make everything expensive, scarce, and sparsely populated so that the survival mechanics actually make sense. That’s about it; I’m patiently waiting for the next updates—let him cook.
I dove into the game not knowing what to expect with it, but I was pleasantly surprised. The game has some creative concepts that are a lot of fun. That said, there are a few issues the developer absolutely needs to hammer out to make Early Access more viable to everyone. 1: There are parts of the game where the tutorial aspects are not clear and don't really tell you what to do. One example is when you use the harvesting beam for the first time. 2: If you upgrade your core too much you will be stuck and unable to upgrade anything. Currently, if an item says it needs Core Lvl 2 to upgrade, it means 2 only. 3 and higher will prevent you from upgrading. I sincerely hope the dev fixes this since 8 hours in I can't really do anything with my base due to this issue. Why do you have it locked to where if you upgrade past Core Lvl 2 it prevents upgrading but nobody is warned that this is the case? If this is intentional you should make it so upgrading the Core 2 specific things is required for upgrading to Core Lvl 3. I hope the developer of the game looks into this, as it should be a pretty easy fix for the second one. As for the first issue, it's not really a big deal. If you like adventure games, this one is good and has a lot of potential. Even with a few severe issues that it has I would definitely still recommend it.
