About
The island remembers the war. Abandoned trenches. Ruined depots. The skeletal remains of humanity's last stand against the machines they created. Now, only the robots remain, patrolling endlessly through the wasteland. And you—a clever ferret, an experiment designed for a war you never chose—must escape before time runs out. Not My War is a 3D top-down stealth and exploration game where tension never fades. The machines don't sleep. The clock doesn't stop.
Navigate deadly patrols using wits and gadgets. Blind sensors with flashlight bursts. Obscure vision with smoke. Create distractions with thrown objects. Hide in burrows when all else fails. Every encounter is a puzzle of sight lines, sound, and split-second decisions.
Time is your greatest enemy. The day-night cycle changes patrols and danger levels, forcing you to adapt your strategy. At night, visibility decreases and threats intensify as the clock ticks toward your deadline.
The island is littered with debris from the war. Search ruins for boat parts, gadgets, and resources. Find other survivors—forgotten experiments like you—and learn their stories through dialogue and environmental storytelling. Explore abandoned military installations to piece together how humanity fell and why you were left behind.
Every item scavenged brings escape closer, but navigating this desolate land while avoiding patrols is treacherous. Aid them with what they need. This war was never yours. But freedom is.

Not My War is a stealth survival adventure from 24-Pack Studios that builds its identity around vulnerability, exploration, and quiet tension rather than overwhelming action. Set in a world devastated by conflict and technological collapse, the game places players into an unfamiliar perspective where survival depends not on power or firepower, but on caution, patience, and intelligent decision-making. It creates an atmosphere shaped by loneliness and danger, delivering a smaller-scale experience focused on tension and environmental storytelling. The premise introduces a bleak future where humanity lost control of the machines it created. Long after civilization has fallen, automated war systems continue functioning without purpose, endlessly patrolling ruined landscapes while the remnants of human ambition decay around them. Players assume control of a genetically modified ferret left behind after humanity’s downfall, trapped on an isolated island filled with mechanical threats and abandoned military infrastructure. Escape becomes the central goal, but survival comes first. Unlike games that encourage confrontation, Not My War builds nearly every system around avoidance. Stealth forms the foundation of progression. Dangerous machines patrol environments relentlessly, forcing players to carefully observe movement patterns and identify safe opportunities to advance. Running directly into danger almost always leads to failure. Instead, success depends on studying surroundings, using environmental tools effectively, and understanding when hiding matters more than moving forward. The game introduces useful mechanics that strengthen stealth gameplay without overcomplicating it. Players can manipulate enemy awareness using distractions, interfere with detection systems, and take advantage of environmental conditions to avoid danger. Every successful escape from a patrol route feels rewarding because progress often comes from careful planning rather than quick reactions. The tension created by narrowly avoiding detection becomes one of the experience’s strongest qualities. Exploration also plays an important role throughout progression. The island contains abandoned structures, damaged military facilities, and forgotten locations filled with resources and information. Moving beyond the primary objective often rewards curiosity through environmental storytelling and valuable supplies needed for survival. The world gradually reveals its history through visual details rather than relying entirely on direct exposition. The environmental storytelling deserves particular praise. Not My War presents a world permanently scarred by conflict without constantly explaining its history through lengthy dialogue sequences. Destroyed infrastructure, silent battlefields, and abandoned facilities communicate the consequences of technological disaster naturally. The world feels damaged in ways that remain believable and unsettling. A dynamic day-and-night system introduces additional strategic considerations. Conditions shift over time, affecting visibility and altering how players approach dangerous situations. Darkness can provide opportunities for stealth while simultaneously creating new challenges. This system prevents encounters from becoming overly predictable and reinforces the feeling that players must constantly adapt. Survival mechanics remain present without overwhelming the stealth focus. Resources gathered throughout exploration contribute toward progression and eventual escape efforts. Players regularly face decisions about how much risk is worth taking when valuable materials remain hidden inside dangerous areas. That balance between survival needs and personal safety creates meaningful tension throughout the experience. Another interesting aspect comes through encounters with other abandoned experiments surviving alongside the protagonist. These interactions provide emotional grounding within an otherwise isolated setting. Helping others creates moments of connection that strengthen investment in the world while expanding understanding of what happened before the player arrived. Visually, Not My War favors atmosphere and readability over visual excess. The isometric perspective supports stealth mechanics effectively by allowing players to monitor threats while navigating ruined environments carefully. The art direction emphasizes desolation without becoming visually repetitive. Abandoned facilities and damaged landscapes create a convincing sense of a world permanently altered by catastrophe. The sound design contributes significantly to immersion. Mechanical patrol noises constantly reinforce danger while quieter moments create tension through uncertainty. Silence becomes one of the game’s most effective tools because players begin anticipating threats even during calm exploration sequences. Audio works together with environmental design to maintain pressure without requiring constant action. The focused design philosophy may not appeal to every player. Those seeking combat-heavy gameplay or larger progression systems may find the experience more restrained than expected. Certain movement and interaction systems can occasionally feel rough around the edges as well. However, the game succeeds by understanding exactly what kind of experience it wants to deliver. Not My War stands out because it treats survival as something fragile rather than empowering. Players do not become unstoppable heroes overcoming impossible odds through force. Instead, progress feels earned through awareness, adaptability, and persistence. That approach gives the game personality while reinforcing its themes surrounding vulnerability and survival. 24-Pack Studios created an atmospheric stealth experience that succeeds through restraint rather than spectacle. The unusual protagonist, damaged world, and focus on intelligent survival create an experience that remains memorable despite its smaller scope. Players who enjoy stealth systems, exploration-heavy progression, and atmospheric worlds built around tension rather than action may find Not My War particularly rewarding. It delivers a thoughtful survival experience where escaping danger often feels more satisfying than defeating it. Rating: 8/10

It's cute with an interesting premise and feels good to play at times. But the top down perspective and controls make it such a slog to get around. The map is also useless and you get stuck on everything. With some updates i can see this being a great little indie gem!
A very atmospheric game with fabulous graphics. The gameplay is enjoyable, but the time limit is a bit tight.
very good, enviroment is also very well done. hope to see more stealth games from th devs
Ta bueno
Good
