This is actually AoF Chess Club 2.0. The developer just had a freak out and deleted it.

Overall the game is OK, OK graphic, ok gameplay, ok engine, but... DONT BUY THIS GAME The problem is that the reaction is VERY slow. you only can make a move maybe 1-3 times a day because the players are not active. i got this game from a bundle and now mentioned to buy it. the price is too much! the market is full of free chess simulators and they are very active and you find matches realy quick with active players.

Ventajas: - El precio. Lo compre con una oferta por 3 €. Inconvenientes: - El interfaz es muy simple. El chat es ridículo. - No están bien implementadas las reglas de ajedrez: Cuando coronas automáticamente se transforma en dama. No se ha dado el caso, pero sospecho que tampoco están implementadas las reglas de la triple repetición y las 50 jugadas. - La comunidad de jugadores activos es casi nula y su crecimiento ridículo. En el mes que llevo jugando se han inscrito unos 30 jugadores, hasta alcanzar lacifra de 210. De estos hay: unos 3-4 que realizan varias jugadas al día, casualmente suelen tener un nivel más alto, con los que puedes acabar la partida en 7-14 días. otros 3-4 que hacen varias jugadas a la semana. el resto o bien han abandonado el juego, tardan más de 7 días por jugada, en cuyo caso puedes reclamar la victoria y te dan los puntos pero no te contabiliza la partida como requisito para pertenecer a los club, o bien cuando ven que juegas mejor que ellos y vas a ganar dejan de contestar. No perdais el tiempo. Hay servidores gratuitos en internet que os van a dar mejores servicios

There are better Chess games to buy then this one. This game makes chess boring and unappealling, which a good chess game shouldn't do. If you love chess, don't buy this one.

Gioco che fa il suo dovere; ma ci sono altri giochi allo stesso prezzo e MOLTO migliori. Tutto ridotto all'osso e semplicistico. Non serve un gioco di scacchi su Steam per questo genere di cose. Basterebbe aprire una finestra del browser e cerca un gioco di scacchi online GRATIS che sicuramente avrà anche più persone giocanti rispetto a questo. Il prodotto di scacchi qui su Steam che reputo migliore sotto tutti gli aspetti è Battle Vs Chess. Se volete un consiglio, risparmiate i soldi per quello. In finale, sconsiglio Voto 5,5/10

AoF Chess Club is a good chess program. It's not graphically spectacular but it gets the job done. It's a lot like mail chess but through email notifications instead. I'd recommend checking it out, my father and I have a lot of fun and stay in touch with this application.
