This is a top down shooter, nothing super special but it is a good time killer. Plus its kinda different and reminds me of Overcooked. Gameplay of the First Level https://youtu.be/f3KTE8pi1Qc
I'm having too many technical issues to review this properly, wasn't even aware it released. Options settings fail to apply randomly, oftentimes locking you out of controlling anything when you adjust settings. The performace is fine until you get near vending machines and lighting posts, and the green foggy areas where you collect weps ) 144hz until i get to those areas, and it's jittery and shaking and at 90 frames and under, to be fair, the boss arenas look prettyneat with the lkighting effects and wehatnot, but the rest of the game looks pretty plain and basic - I have no idea why the frames drop so massivley from a few light sources. no real pc settings here, resolution and that's it. screen shake ( which decides to work if it wants ) fog on /off ( same as screen shake ) and then other things vibration, invert y axis, etc - not visual settings, no V-sync setting, no frame limit settings, no post processing settings, shadows, etc. the game idea is fine, many characters ala enter the gungeon in a roguelite randomly generated level with a random boss at the end. You rarely ever see new weps, and powerups seem non-existnet you can purchase perks for your character to always have, but they're insanely priced considering I can't ever seem to find money I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but in games liek this - you typically clear a room of enemies, and then get a reward - maybe some life, some money, some ammo - this game? it just lets you advance to the next room.. and this feels very wrong, considering I have not seen enemies dorp a single thing. ( aside of ammo when I';m out of ammo ) btw, your default wep has ammo. and it can run out. making you use a throwing dagger to damage ( it's terrible ) \ take serious sam's tormental roguelite - with less polish, more characters and less content - with more bosses - but make everythign food. that';s what nom nom apocalypse is. both games play almost identically, same weird performance issues as well - might be a similar engine for unity. anywho, not an entirley bad game - just rough around the edges, hopefully the devs can patch em up. until then, I'd not recommend this one, unless you're just dying for another twin stick roguelite game ( albeit one with a little less polish and veneer than your standard enter the gungeon clone ) I'll keep an eye on it, not recommending this for now.
just cook your own food at home
