Noctropolis

Stylish and Challenging. An Early 90's Point and Click with high production quality for the time and a slight twist namely in how you actually point and click you have a few extra commands compared other P&C games you've played before and Noctropolis does not hold your hand and some puzzles/interactions can be very specific which can hinder some players progress you get a lot of 'kick yourself' moments. Even the starting area is cryptic, once your out of the first room you start to get the vibe of the story. Interesting soundtrack and the live action characters you meet are certainly likeable. One for the books and certainly worth a playthrough especially if you like Phantasmagoria.

I still have my original CD copy of this from back in the 90s, at the time it was one of my favourite games but hadn't played since then until this week; a few of the puzzles have the obscurity that you'd expect from games of that era but otherwise the game still holds up well, the actors deliver their often-cheesy dialogue with with enthusiasm and whilst dated now the visuals are still really cool, I loved the different environments and locations that you visited throughout the game. Really glad I picked this up for a quick nostalgia hit!

слишком архаичная даже для меня. Список действий ПКМ на третьэкрана с выбором из семи действий (говорить, открыть, взять, посмотреть, двинуть, пойти, использовать) - это много для меня. Но сам порт с ms-dos неплохо сделан, хотя графика сверхпикселявая и "размазанная"(из-за малого разрешения исходной графики), но звук предполагаю осовременен так как таковым по качеству он не мог быть в те времена (миди и "PCспикеров").
