About

In No More Room in Hell 2, you deploy as an emergency Responder into the eerie darkness of various zombie-infested locations.
Join up with others and complete vital missions to aid humanity's survival. But stay cautious: every encounter with the horde can lead to infection - or even permadeath for your Responder.
Every fight is a struggle, every victory another step back from the brink of apocalypse.
Eight players must use their wits and deadly reflexes to survive the relentless forces of the undead.
Find your teammates with proximity voice chat and grow together in power.
Communication and strategy are key to survival as you face overwhelming threats– with resources too scarce to not be shared. Use every strategy and tool at your disposal to outsmart the horde and make it out in one piece.
Every choice made and action taken will affect how the horde reacts, leading to devastating consequences or the loss of your Responder and their individual progress.
In Scenario Mode, Responders journey deep into the heart of the outbreak to arm themselves, tackle critical objectives, and extract supplies. Witness how the recent apocalypse has affected the Northeast Coast of the United States across 6 richly-crafted maps, each offering a different perspective of society's collapse. From the urban centers of Lewiston, Maine and Broadway in New York, to the industrial outskirts of Pennsylvania and facilities like Beaulieu Hospital and a government Bunker; every locale offers a different time of day as well as themed objectives to complete. Discover gear along the way, increasing your odds of survival and restoring the infrastructure needed to keep humanity alive.
Every mission puts your character at risk of dying - forever.
The undead can infect you and twist your mind, setting you on a race against time to find pills or a gene therapy cure - all before your dead body rises up against your allies.
Looting supplies always benefits your crew, but your Responder must survive to reap all the rewards.
For every successful mission you complete, your odds at survival improve through upgraded starting gear and perks earned from your previous experiences.
Do you put your character’s life on the line to save a squad member? Rewards increase as more squadmates extract, but the risk of permadeath is ever-present.
While one zombie is a threat, a crowd can quickly become insurmountable. The undead retain their senses, with every sound you make in the hushed darkness able to cascade into full conflict. Multiple zombie types force you to try and stay one step ahead or meet a horrifying end - including your responder joining the undead horde.
Ammo is scarce, zombies are dangerous, and players are fragile. Experience thrilling survival horror with an arsenal of weapons - some professional, some improvised - to ward off and outwit the undead.
Bury a crowbar into a walker’s skull with visceral melee combat, or unload your last shotgun shell into the advancing horde.
A dynamic gore system lets you see and feel the sickening impact of every wound you impart on the undead.
Stay alive by planning out your combat encounters, using tools like proximity bombs or molotov cocktails to employ brains instead of brawn.
Equip weapon attachments, including sights, scopes, and suppressors, to make firearms more effective.
Grow your Responder's skillset over multiple missions, with each extraction progressing their abilities and leading to unique perks that allow crafted loadouts for future deployments.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There are too few players, so I've been stuck in matchmaking the whole time.I haven't successfully started a single game, my level is still one with zero experience. So far,all the updates have just made the game harder and brought players a stronger sense of frustration. No growth,no sense of achievement.
Fix the damn bug where it stops you from vaulting over things and I'll give you a thumbs up. I was stuck on the train tracks on Broadway and unstuck didn't work.
holy smokes this was a baaaad one
First off if you are expecting a single player experience or want to lone wolf everything, don't even bother picking this up. That's never been the NMRIH experience and you'll be happier playing something else. I see a lot of misplaced criticism that's just wanting a completely different game than what this is advertised as. I was a regular player of the first NMRIH over a decade ago and it was a comfort game of mine in highschool, I remember reading their dev logs about the sequel way back then lol. My fondest memories of the first game was the small community and people's dedication to getting the job done, I had picked up basic spanish to communicate with my teams because there wasn't regional servers and we did our best lol. Something I'd love for the devs to know is It somehow stood as the ONLY game in my lifetime that I was able to use VC in as a woman and was able to have fun, lead objectives, and not have miserable creatures try to embarrass or hurt my feelings for peer approval. No clue how that happened, but thank you lol. Now, It is my understanding that this games had a very long and rocky development with the state it released in Early Access garnering it a bad reputation that's spoiled its ratings for a while now. That dissuaded me from trying it then, but after a lot of work and updates put into the game I've decided to give it a go. The audio is amazing, the various zombie snarls and the auditory hallucinations while infected are chefs kiss. The environment is set up well, I love the little easter eggs the devs place around the map, like the Shaun of the Dead dvds, Mr. Penguinton, or portraits of their pets. Trees falling, canisters to blow up, vaulting around the hordes, smashing out windows, barricading, and getting to think about how to escape. Walking into a movie theater and the entire front row seats of zombies standing up and swarming was funny. The interactive melee system is fun and engaging, having to alternate left and right, heavy and light, to time your swings in different ways for each weapon is a nice touch along with the zombie gore and dismemberment. Gameplay is fun with objectives having mini games attached to them rather than solely walking point A to B. Customizing the guns has potential, needs to be expanded upon. Now the criticisms I have. Characters being permadeath is more a loose rule with the bugs lol. It seems a gamble on whether you'll actually lose the character. Sometimes you do on death, sometimes they're back in the lobby like nothing happened. Same with infection carrying over. Characters can be unfortunately lost on crashes or hard closing. This alone has made up majority of complaints I see about this game. Zombies spawning RIGHT in front of you has gotten my team members killed in very unfair ways. They should spawn outside a proximity at least, both to avoid killing the fun and for immersion. Difficulty and weapons balancing is off. Gamemode difficulty seeming to just be a flat damage increase to the zombies. Very punishing for playing in smaller groups, while full lobbies are like cakewalks with the meta being 8 people traveling in an unstoppable pack with baseball bats lol. Each melee weapon should be a bit more unique in its pros and cons. No respawns outside of casual leads to having to sit for a half hour while my friends try to finish the game to get me back in. I love the co-op focus of the game, but scaling per player or anything to take into account smaller groups would be lovely as the game doesn't have a large playerbase to begin with. Overall I reccomend! Its a great vision and they understand some aspects of game design many just can't grasp. It's come a long way since its initial release on steam and I believe its worth it . On the other hand, some pretty big balancing flaws and bugs seem to discourage many players along with the larger price tag for an early access game. They are self publishing and truly indie so it makes sense itd be pricier to fund development, but that price along with a mixed review rating is asking for a lot of faith from the consumer and may be holding them back,
