I've been playing and enjoying Aldorlea games for a very long time and they never fail to intrigue me, entertain me, and draw me in to a good story immediately. And this one is no exception. I'm enjoying the way this one is set up. The hero is being called on to recruit 3 half gods to join him in his mission to destroy the evil consuming the world. The game begins in a town that is beyond what you normally see in these games in that it has lots to see, lots to do, and lots to discover ---- same with the first dungeon that follows. Like most of the Aldorlea games, diligent investigation along with some trial and error generates positive results. So this game is very modern in its up[ to date execution without losing the feel of the old style classic rpgs that I like so much. It's a great journey to travel and one that fans of the classics will not want to miss. I give it a very high recommendation.
I've played a lot of games by this developer, and they never disappoint. A classic RPG, but quite challenging. The game play isn't what's challenging - it's everything else. There is a lot baked in here - hidden rooms, quests that are not only hard to find but even harder to complete, a good story, great characters....honestly any game that Aldorlea has developed is such a gem. Highly recommend.
