"Night at the Office" is one of dozens of horror games that have been sitting installed on my machine for a few months now, patiently waiting for their turn. Yes, I know — I have more games than a person could ever play in a lifetime, and I keep getting new ones. Anyway, its turn finally came — and to be honest, I expected yet another completely generic horror game with predictable jump scares and poorly optimized graphics, either made in Unity or with free Unreal assets. Long story short — the game is actually fun, managed to scare me a few times (which is rare), and is fairly well optimized (though don’t expect a visual masterpiece — we're talking about a Unity game). In fact, that’s exactly what I liked — the scary moments are delivered in a surprising and tasteful way. Let’s say I was wandering around and suddenly a bloody message appeared on the wall in front of me: “Behind you.” I turned around, expecting an extremely cliché jump scare I’ve probably seen in a thousand movies and games — only for NOTHING to happen. I spent the next few minutes on edge, but again — NOTHING. And just when I relaxed and decided to focus on the next puzzle (which aren’t difficult, but are still fun) — BAM! Also, the game has three different endings, and in this video I got the worst one, so I’ll definitely play it at least two more times. In other words, if you’ve got a few bucks to spare — I recommend this game! https://youtu.be/PrlII53A2qQ
At the very start, i've suspected the main premise of the story. But even so, i had fun playing this game. It's very simple, but the psychological elements you get immersed into is sufficient and satisfying. Looking forward to more games like this, and maybe something even better from the developer :)
Another well crafted horror experience from this developer! Truly terrifying from start to finish. I've played almost every game by Stan, and each one has consistently creeped me out with its setup, sound design and atmosphere. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
Had a lot of fun with the game, but I am seemingly locked out of getting the third ending, and after 9.4 hours of trying to get it, I have to think I will stay locked out of it. real fun game outside of that
good game with captivating story. 7 out of 10
I think this game looks good. as in a way it really brings out the horror aspect. Had some jump scares, I'm young but every jump scare made me jump. I didn't lose any interest in the game while playing. It also has some replay ability. So I will definitely play it again.
Another great walking horror simulator from this developer. - Good and well timed scares - Very intriguing story - Cool and scary setting with it being alone in an office
This was a very terrifying experience but very fun i loved it
