About
Nex-Ara is a galaxy defense roguelike where your only hope is to evolve your fleet faster than the alien hive can devour the solar system. Upgrade a select fleet of ships and dive into intense, tactical combat across a dynamic star system. But be warned — while you fight, planets continue to orbit, enemies grow stronger, and fuel is always in short supply. Every move counts. Every battle matters. You'll need careful planning, quick thinking, and strategic upgrades to stand a chance against the hive's relentless advance.

This game is so fun. I got a build with two indignation and 3 quick counters on the phalanx, and the dopamine was insane. It is like i was a machine gun. MWAHHAHAHAHHA. fun game.
Amazing! So much for a strategy gammer to ponder. There is the unique game mechanics in the sequencing of rotating orbits and the need to spend fuel to make links to get to planets. This creates interesting challenges in terms of: 1) timing and balancing of fuel expenditure; 2) planning for the disruption zones; 3) the movement of the orbittroos (great name!); 4) the movement of the Leviathan; etc. The somewhat random placement of planets, disruption zone, enemies, etc. changes things up every game. Not to mention the tons of random ship upgrades that come with each battle adds to the variety within a game, as well as from game to game. I have not even unlocked the other ship types yet. You do have to contend with some bugs, but it is early release. For $5, this game delivers a ton of replayability.
