Neon Tail delivers a unique rollerskating experience that might be tricky to pick up at first due to the semi-realistic physics but leads to a satisfying and fun game that is worth any fan of this genre checking out. Still a little rough around the edges, but clearly a passion project. Technical issues don't hamper the core gameplay. Full review: https://youtu.be/GNcibT_ogjQ?si=UmJD3jHyzzESlROf
I may not have too much time in the game but I've been occasionally playing for about a year now. While the movement feels sluggish in the beginning and takes a bit to get used to, its a unique feel that rewards quick reactions and improvisation to continue the flow of grinds and tricks. And the new September update greatly improved the game including a mini map with icons and the ability to travel to certain points on the map by bus, a new take on the upgrade system that is more straight forward and removes the need to choose between better stats or fun abilities, and a revamp of the current story and missions that greatly improve the new player experience. While still a work in progress game, it has quite a bit offer to those looking for a inline skating game that scratches the "you know what" itch.

Just realised I haven't reviewed this yet for some reason. I've been following the work from these guys since early builds and it's always great seeing what they're doing with it, It's a really fun high energy great experience. I've only got a few hours in so far but it's been a blast playing it. I'll be getting some more time in it soon XD Would recommend. The dev's are also great for this and you can really tell this is a labour of love. Give it a go, you won't be dissappointed
If you can’t handle the controls, you might not find it very fun. The first thing you'll need to do is get comfortable with the controls. Because you are exploring the world on roller skates, you may not always be able to turn or accomplish basic tasks as you would like. Much of it has to do with slopes and speed. If you're traveling too quickly, you'll have to make do because skates don't have brakes. Another challenging aspect is that you can skate both forward and backward; you must juggle between the two in order to perform good turns or even stop properly. You will go through a tutorial, but it will take some time before you figure out how to play. The game is set in an open city. It's made up of several ramps, rails, and other elements that allow you to travel quickly and constantly. While the city is bustling with people wandering around or simply hanging out, they are not an impediment or something important. The overall gameplay is nothing new. You move around the city and perform missions and races that earn you money or cosmetic items. It’s obvious right away that you can’t do a good job if you don’t handle the controls well. Although there is no time limit on missions, you won’t find it very fun if you keep falling down and struggle. Unfortunately, the engine is not well optimized. The main issue is that people and assets in the world appear in front of you as you move about. Even if you adjust all performance settings to the maximum, the spawn remains noticeable and unusual. It may also slow down your framerates, therefore I recommend moving it all the way to the bottom. There are several clues that the game has an indie background. Most glaring is repetitive music, which might not be the best thing for this type of game. They you also have strange design choices, like the fact you need to stop completely if you want to open the menu. There you can see stats, map, and other features.

Jeu indé de parkour sur rolleurs qui récompense le temps investi dans la prise en main, univers mignon pour édulcorer, les musiques sont immersives mais répétitives pour l'instant
I absolutely love this game, and the devs are very kind and quick to respond to bug reports. I adore the aesthetic, music, movement mechanics, and the outfits. Even when I encountered errors, it was such a joy to play that I didn't mind waiting for the bugfix.
Once you get used to the mechanics its pretty fun. For a game created by about 3 people it runs pretty smooth.
pretty good
