About

Neffy -Moonlight Labyrinth X- is an action puzzle game where you team up with the young shrine maiden Neffy to solve riddles and overcome traps in a fantasy maze.
Originally developed for VR, the game has been carefully optimized for consoles—now more accessible than ever!

In this game, you’ll switch between the “Novalis perspective” and the “Neffy perspective” as you progress through the labyrinth.
Use the “Novalis perspective” to activate heavy mechanisms or to transform Neffy into a cat.
When you need to explore hidden paths that are hard to see from Novalis’s viewpoint, switch to the “Neffy perspective” to discover new routes and delve deeper into the labyrinth.

You play as Novalis, a powerful summoned being who helps Neffy by manipulating gigantic mechanisms and unlocking sealed paths with the power of moonlight.

Interact directly with Neffy to support her: transforming her into a cat, healing her, or triggering adorable reactions.
Neffy is fully voiced by Shiori Izawa (English version: Diana Garnet), adding warmth and personality to every encounter.
Transform into a Black Cat
Touch Neffy to help her become a cat—boosting her jump and agility!
Heal Her Wounds
A gentle touch restores her strength and keeps her going.
Adorable Reactions
Neffy responds with cute voice lines and animations when touched.

On touchscreen-supported devices, you can directly pet Neffy and interact with mechanisms for a more intuitive experience.

Reviews
Somehow there aren't any reviews yet so i shall take up the mantle. Would vote neutral if i could - it has the makings of an entertaining game but isn't quite there yet. I wouldn't recommend buying unless it's on a big sale and you don't mind most of the game consisting of running back and forth. Played roughly until the midway point, stopped because it felt like a total waste of time. Granted I might've missed something in the latter half that completely negates my review but i highly doubt it. So for good things - the story is average and the gameplay of solving puzzles while switching between Neffy and Nova could be pretty fun. Also the japanese voice acting was nice. The gameplay as a whole feels very unintuitive, slow and clanky. Picking up/putting down items as Neffy feels like it takes years and the fact there's only 2-3 voice lines being cycled through regardless of the item or action gets repetitive pretty fast. The puzzles aren't innovative or challenging either - it just feels like a linear story you progress by doing hyperspecific fetch quests over and over. The hardest part to solve for me was that you need to collect enough energy on each level before being able to transform into a cat, because the game doesn't really tell you much aside from investing energy into the statue at the start. Investing energy into the goddess' statue to unlock abilities is such an underused mechanic imo. The game would've been a lot more fun if you 'advanced' as a priest by unlocked abilities that help you with the puzzles as you progress through the game (and it doesn't reset on each level), as opposed to just having to collect enough energy to unlock a lever, move on to the next level and have to do it all over again. The villains also feel like they're from a saturday morning cartoon in how they talk and act but that's not neccessarily a bad thing. Just something to point out for anyone who doesn't like it. Bonus points for Neffy being cute and funny
A wonderful game. I had a great time playing it. The puzzles were fun, without being too difficult or too easy. The story was enjoyable, not taking itself too seriously or trying to be deep and thought provoking. It served its purpose well, and allowed for some comic relief enemies. The protagonist, Neffy, was adorable. She was silly, she was fun, you wanted to help her. Best of all, she was voice acted quite well! I'd recommend giving the game a play. It is too cute to just pass by.
