Alright so I've been a pretty big 2k player since 15 if you're looking for a version of 2k that lets you actually have fun make shots and vibe in the park look elsewhere if you want to just play against the ai chill and make shots look elsewhere this game is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash dont waste your money I'm sorry I wasted my money on the preorder and vc assuming they would keep something simillar to 26 25 and 24 but nope they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it all up dont waste your time or money on this trash.

AI Offensive and Defensive Consistency Has Severely Regressed this year The AI behavior in the game has taken a clear step backward compared to 2K25 and 2K26, particularly regarding offensive and defensive consistency. Offense: Momentum Issues: AI players take far too long to find their rhythm, and a couple of bad plays completely drain their confidence, causing them to go cold prematurely. Lack of Aggression: Instead of physically forcing their way through or using dribble moves after contact—like in previous entries—the AI constantly bumps into defenders, panics, and retreats back to the perimeter to restart the play repeatedly. Defense: Poor Positioning: AI defenders are overly reactive, frequently overcommitting and opening wide drive-and-kick lanes for easy offense. Non-Existent Shot Contests: The most frustrating issue is the lack of urgency—defenders often stand completely still and fail to contest shots, even when a shooter is right in their face. It’s mind-boggling how the AI logic has regressed so significantly after the progress made in the last two titles.
Same bugs as the last 5 years. This is what NBA 2k26 should have been, so the gameplay is fine but not worth the $70 price tag.
