Best 2K in years so far. Defense finally feels rewarding you can actually contest shots and get stops instead of having a hand in someone's face and the game calling it wide open. Shooting finally feels balanced too. Please don't change it just because people complain that they can't shoot 70%. My biggest complaint is the ambient sound. It's insanely annoying. Even with every single audio setting set to 0, you can still hear loud street/venue music and random background noise in MyCAREER, the Park, locker rooms, etc. There seriously needs to be an option to completely disable ambient sounds. Other than that, the gameplay is great.

it smooth just the green window for some of the shots be changing like when i shoot some times it tends to reset the jump shot meter which make me to believe RNG is back in the game and then the head dev says there is not. so im kinda confused

2k27 is an actually good basketball game if you're interested in realistic feeling basketball in the MyCareer mode. I can't speak on the park side of things since I've played exactly 1 game in the park but I can say the lockdown build I'm using FEELS like a lockdown. You can't rely on holding up on the right stick to be a blanket anymore like 26 the blocking and steals feel 1000x better if you properly time them you will get them. The AI isn't just sagging off on every possession while you light them up for 100+ points now they actually play defense and you have to actually play basketball to score. The co-op in MyCareer is a huge improvement I usually play with one other person and it used to be streaming a career game on discord or playing playnow, but now we can actually play together in MyCareer. The story also is actually pretty interesting compared to last years wannabe TikTok star basketball player. I felt genuine anger towards certain characters when they're being ♥♥♥♥♥ to you. I also like some characters like Trace, he's a well written dude that's actually likeable. And to finish off there's two different paths that are actually massively different in the G-League, I didn't expect the stories to be different apart from the location but nah there's trades that happen in one while in the other they show a lot more loyalty and it's dope.
