usually 2k season 1 is a completely different game from later seasons so i have a bit of hope that it will get better, but as of right now it is a completely terrible game. The amount of layups that go in without it being green is ridiculous and i play rec with randoms and everyone shoots abysmal and i cant even get mad because the shooting is so wonky. It took me around 3 full hours of HQ practice to get my shot right and even then its a miracle i am shooting 60 percent. there are shots i feel are late and its green or shots i think are green but its early so i just shoot and pray and its been working for me so far but compared to 2k25 its even worse. After a few Rec games i hop on the park and immediately leave because i see some 15 plus streak dudes shooting from half court so i dont even want to mess with that. overall need a big patch to even start thinking positively about this game.

As far as online experience goes, much MUCH improved on last year. Shooting was way too easy last year, and defense was given an overhaul to where it actually feels like you can lock guys up now, even the few cheaters you'll run into in the park. Singleplayer is as good as always, there's never been much complaint there. Biggest room to improve would be a BIG one: crossplay
