This game is garbage. Cheating is rampant, but they don't allow Linux or Virtual machines "because people might cheat" Not buying any more of these games until I can play on a system of my choice.
THIS GAME KEEPS GETTING WORSE EVERY YEAR
If I could give a mixed rating to NBA 2K25, I would. But since I bought it for $10 and have put over 600 hours into it, I'll swing toward the positive side. Listen, I get it, sports games have a terrible reputation for being yearly releases filled with microtransactions and bugs, only to be abandoned in less than a year. Don't get me wrong, this one is just like the rest of them. However, if you love playing basketball or just watching the NBA, you're going to enjoy this game if you stick to the offline modes. MyNBA is such a cool mode, especially with the Eras feature. Almost all of my hours have been spent there. Getting to create your own team or play out your career without spending a penny is incredibly fun, and it gives you an insane amount of custom experiences without ever needing to install a mod. The 2K25 version does have its problems, contracts are way too expensive, and sometimes players just disappear from rosters as the seasons progress, but those issues are nowhere near as bad as the ones in 2K26. There is also a completely free WNBA version of MyNBA, MyCareer, and other modes, which is a nice addition, though I don't know many people who play it. The online modes suck. I hate MyTeam, and MyCareer is just a corny, pay-to-win version of the exact same things you can do in MyNBA with a little imagination. Most drones play that mode and then complain about the game being bad, all while never exploring any other options because their IQ is below 60. Avoid online modes entirely, or only play them with friends. The biggest change this game has compared to previous 2K titles is that the shot meters are weird and unpredictable. It’s obviously a bad change, but if you play long enough, you "kind of" get used to it. A smaller aesthetic change is the "oily" player pictures; while I don't prefer them over normal photos, they aren't terrible quality. Overall, while it doesn't matter for this specific title anymore, you should only buy NBA 2K games when they drop under $20 around January. 2K doesn't deserve your full-price money. They could easily just update the rosters like EA does for F1. It's obvious they desperately need a competitor like NBA Live, or the franchise is just going to keep getting worse.
擦,我不玩线上,我玩单机,你管我休没修改呢?你禁止我线上就行了啊,你不让我玩单机是什么意思?我买的单机游戏你凭什么不让我玩,我擦,SB公司。
same crap all the years still playable if you like basquetball
The shot meter is very inconsistent. However everything else is good.
why pay for a game for only 3 years
