Love RPG? Make sure to Follow my Curator Page for plenty more!
The best part of the series so far. The world has become bigger and more beautiful, the combat has also changed for the better, it is now more engaging. And this is the only game in which grinding brings me pleasure. A wonderful adventure for fans of old school. ✔️8/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RcPQy0qZcc
And don't forget to Subscribe to my Youtube

Join my Steam Group
Turn Based blobbing? I am in.
Might and Magic 1 ? Wizardry ?
I love blobber games. Unfortunately I tried to make a party in this game, and I couldn't even type out each character's name as the game responded to each letter, moving, opening map, resting etc. Powering through that, after I made some characters, I tried to delete one and add a different one, the result was it added two of the new character replacing another party member. The first few minutes of this game has not been tested and is extremely buggy, which makes me not want to play anymore to find the rest. Please test your game, Refunded.
This is the best in the series so far. It has a better look and the combat is much improved. The other 2 were like Bards tale - give orders and then see how the round plays out. To illustrate the difference, let's say there's an enemy that has a chance to poison your party and you want to take them out ASAP. In the first 2 games, you do this by having all melees hit them and just to be sure, have your caster nuke them as well. Then the battle plays out and your caster gets initiative an kills them all. Great, but your melees do nothing this turn. In this game they're free to target something else. I do have a small nit-picks. Cash rewards for quests are only useful early game. Getting something like arm bands a sage can wear would be nice because if there's a shop that sells them, I never found it. Anyway, I had a blast playing this. Just like the previous two, I some "Oh crap it's 3am!" moments while playing. Highly recommended.
This is the third installment in Dragon Dropper's dungeon-crawling saga, and while it's mostly the same Bard's Tale/Wizardry turn-based/grid/first person deal as the first two games (Into the Inferno and Crossing the Sands), you can see an update in graphical quality, effects, and it seems like a bigger variety of monsters as well. I really can't comment on the story, I'm sure it involves killing something in a labyrinth somewhere; we're not playing for the story here. We want to explore, kill monsters, make our party stronger, and get to the end of the game at some point. Jason (Dragon Dropper) is an active developer, and it's great to see him roll out updates for his newest and older games around the same time (they run on the same engine). There is a bit of jank which adds to the charm (or frustration, depending on your tolerance) such as a bug when creating characters that makes you move around the map, and the music...the best way to describe it is what I imagine folk music would sound like on a high dose of psychedelics. If you're looking for a classic-formula RPG that features grid based movement, turn based combat, and fairly open exploration, grab any one of Dragon Dropper's games. Better yet, grab all of them, and support a developer who keeps improving each game in a time where the rage is to release unfinished products or just abandon them all together.
there are some glitches and very rough edges unlike most wizardry-likes (fps dungeoncrawlers, etc.) the doodle to activate conversations and interactions is set on the same tile you move to where in another similiar game you would stand infront of a location to initiate conversations, etc. here you clip into the buildings; during character creation, when typing your names the ingame button-prompts are active (something like a "c" will open the character window while you are typing the name, or WASD moving your viewpoint) but the rest is functional and atleast it is an active/involved dev
Super tytuł. Gorąco polecam
