Nature Treks: Together

Trees moving to fast in response to the wind, especially palm trees. If there was such wind, it would be evident in the waves and it's not. Likewise, it doesn't feel like the sound syncs with the actual waves against the shore. Performance is low fps, even with i7 7700k and rtx 2080. Also it is only the island environments. Having played this devs previous game/experience, I was expecting more, and hopefully it will continue to evolve and improve. It was nice seeing the birds and insects and stuff. The environment that was there was nice. I just think based off of what I'm seeing I should be getting much better performance. I'll rereview as the project gets further along. Otherwise I'd recommend a wait and see approach.

Relaxing VR nature simulation similar to Matt Newell's works. At current stage of EA it lacks content, but the quality is quite high. Beware though, it is very GPU heavy. There are only 2 environments for now: Islands that mix tropical and continental biomes and winter glade. Both are quite beautiful, with highly detailed textures, dynamic clouds and day/night cycle (although for winter it is incomplete - night looks just like darker day). Watching sunsets, sunrises and Northern Lights in VR really helped me relax after last two very stressful weeks at work. There is a highly advertised multiplayer feature, but the player base is non existent. I've only met one person in about 3 hours, and it has not added much to my experience. Performance is not great even on GPU above recommended levels: I had about 50-60 average FPS on 6800 XT. It was just enough for the slow paced watching experience to not feel janky.

Da es nur die Möglichkeit ja oder nein gibt, tue ich mir relativ schwer das Spiel zu bewerten. + Grafik wirklich schön + mit Freunden zum "Unterhalten" in VR ohne große Aktion - keine Einführung - kein wirklicher Mehrwert - Preis ~ (für ein bisschen Grafik, sind 8€ zu viel)

So disappointed with this VR experience. Absolutely nothing has changed since I purchased it back in 2021. The developer doesn't seem to make any changes requested in the Steam discussions and has possibly even abandoned it. It's still an online experience only with just a hand full of maps. You must sign in and join a public room and be ok with others joining you, which I'm not. The graphics are very blurry and the optimization is very poor. I was getting constant frame rate drops with an RTX3080 and i9 processor even on the smallest island with the graphic setting turned down. And for some reason, nighttime comes way too quickly and you find yourself standing in the dark with no option to remain in the daylight. Everything also seems more directed towards a multiplayer experience. Overall, there is very little reason to keep this on my hard drive. A MUCH better VR experience in my opinion is Guided Meditation VR.

Nature Treks Together es una experiencia interactiva perfecta para los usuarios de los dispositivos de realidad virtual que quieran jugar solos o bien acompañados gracias al modo multijugador que cuenta con salas de hasta dieciséis jugadores. Un titulo que invita a disfrutar de entornos completamente interactivos en los que sumergirnos plácidamente con el objetivo de explorarlos tranquilamente interactuando tanto con el entorno como con los demás jugadores tanto por el chat de voz basado en la proximidad de los jugadores como por la interpretación de las distintas emociones en forma de orbes. Para resaltar la interactividad del entorno, el juego otorga una serie de herramientas al jugador como pueden ser una paleta de pintura que permite dibujar cualquier cosa que imagines con tus manos para posteriormente poder interactuar con cada una de sus líneas dependiendo del grosor y longitud capaz de crear música con los mismos. Entre otras herramientas disponibles tenemos una que permite a los jugadores cambiar el entorno donde se encuentren interactuando con el mismo lanzando distintos tipos de orbes que permiten poner rocas, flores, arboles y un largo etcétera. El objetivo no es otro que el de sumergir al protagonista en un lugar diseñado especialmente para el mismo que pueda no solo descubrir, sino conectar expresándose libremente mientras juega con su imaginación e interactúa con los demás jugadores que se encuentran en el mismo. En lo que respecta al apartado artístico, Nature Treks Together ofrece una experiencia realmente dinámica y fluida rodeada de entornos de gran calidad tanto visual como sonora que combinan a la perfección con las posibilidades de los dispositivos de realidad virtual. Unos entornos realmente idílicos que tendremos del placer de disfrutar en compañía de nuestros amigos con el único objetivo de sorprender al jugador a cada uno de sus pasos. En resumen, Nature Treks Together es un titulo inolvidable y mas en cuanto te juntas con un par de amigos, pues básicamente vais a gozar de todo un entorno maravilloso completamente interactivo donde flora y fauna se funden para sumergir al jugador en un sueño tan único con personalizable.

I really appreciate the idea of the game. There are so little virtual experiences where we can relax in a beautiful serene surrounding. The idea of a campfire where we can chat looking at sunset is also outstanding. However I can’t recommend “Nature Treks: Together” because of two serious drawbacks. First of all: there are no private rooms. Only the common one. It destroys the idea of relaxation completely. How can I relax when a complete stranger can appear on the island any minute? I would love to invite some friends to have a good time together. For socializing there are plenty other games. The second drawback isn’t that serious but still the islands are too small. Also there is no such variety of bioms like in “Nature Treks VR”. The game seems to be abandoned (the last update was on January 2022), so I don’t expect anything will change soon. That’s why I don’t recommend it.

Really looking foreword to this but does not start up - Start Game, game logo appears but has red exclamation mark in centre, logo disappears, game stops loading. Vive Pro Index 1080 card, The only game I have with an issue. Contacted developer, no response.

最近有人遇到游戏进入地图卡在初始界面的情况吗？之前一直可以正常运行，最近说什么都进不去了

Really like nature treks, this is something else. Too complex to be relaxing imho.
