NARK THE DRAGON is a timing puzzle game. The game is extremely short and annoying, you quickly understand how to win the level but have to try 50 times until the pixel and the stars align to clear the level... The meat you throw bounces off everything and typically lands on anything but the dragon's throat. Expect to retry each levels about 10-50 times, trying to click at the exact millisecond for a chance to finish the level. One music, barely any settings, 30 levels that are super similar... nothing exciting. Overall, a pixel-perfect timing game that has little to offer.
I beat it in 22 minutes. It's essentially a very cheap mobile game. As sad as it is to say, I think you should probably buy a snack you enjoy instead of buying this game. Or maybe a couple of gumballs, or something like that. The dragons in this game get a rating of 6/10. Nark is fine, but I dunno. Just mediocre.
NARK THE DRAGON is a really dumbed down, simplistic physics puzzle game where you catapult a chunk of meat into a dragons mouth. To add some challenge, each level is a little different as either your catapult moves, or there's a block in the way, or some moving obstacles in the way (making you use some timing). There's even a gimmick that rips off Portal from Valve. Valve love it when shovelware devs rip off their games. Anyway this is incredibly shallow, it makes Angry Birds look like a masterpiece of complexity. And they want money for this where Angry Birds is free, so you know where this review is going. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the video game construction kit/toolset, ClickTeam Fusion. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur/unskilled developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2018), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. That's right, only 4. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. NARK THE DRAGON is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

I have to say, the physics in this game are pretty wacky. While there are only 30 levels and no tutorial, you’ll likely only run into trouble on about 2 of them. It’s a simple puzzle game where you’re tasked with feeding the dragon, Nark, using fixed shots. This game feels perfect if a friend gifted it to you, and you just want to speed through it with some thought. However, if you had to go out and buy it yourself, the experience might not be as rewarding. It’s definitely only worth it if it’s on sale or gifted to you. Fortunately, it seems to be on sale at the time this review is posted. 6/10 – Fun but short, best enjoyed as a gift or on sale.
This game is hot ass, but the nostalgia for the days of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ flash games played on a YMCA computer make it worth the 20 minutes or so needed to beat it. Perfect for making friends rage!
esse dragão ai chupa rola o dia inteiro
Physics is random and wonky. So extremely meticulous control, timing, and a bit of luck is required for some levels and they are only difficult not by design but due to bad physics. No level selection and the game is a bit too short.
