Among the sea of indie platformers, this is a good one. Tough though.
Relating to the platform games I know and love, it gives me Mario vibes and has the fail and quick-restart aspect of Super Meat Boy. Been a pleasure to play and though I haven't even completed the game yet I've gone back through certain levels to enjoy them again! Lots of interesting or unique level designs/mechanics. Soundtrack is amazing, too! Great tunes to play to!
I had Kickstarted this game so I suppose that qualifies it as free so here we go! I had a really good time with this, I thought the idea of being a nakey little man running around and beating up wild life was a cute opportunity and hard to pass up. All in all the levels are fairly small and easy to digest which I enjoyed. Never felt like I was spending too much time on a level. If you die the game reloads you at the last checkpoint almost immediately. Enemy design is cute, a small variety of wildlife to boop including snakes, cause ♥♥♥♥ em. I only came across one real bug through casual playing but it was nothing that was able to break the game. There are a couple of secrets that are pretty well hidden as well. A couple related to achievements so you get some help there! All in all I had a really good time, if you sit down and go hard at it the game can be beaten in one session, but I think this is a cute game to sit and take in small chunks maybe once a day to get the most value from it.

i hate the snakes
Nudity is fine by me, but the gameplay feels a little too threadbare for my taste.
I've been getting into more short games recently, and this one is definitely one of the more fun I've experienced. Initially quite simple, it builds on its mechanics often in levels that add interesting twists, e.g., using stalactites to break open ice, levels that use verticality, etc. The world feels very lively, thanks to vibrant art and a chirpy soundtrack clearly made with love, which constantly impressed me with a different track for almost every sub-level. I encountered a handful of glitches while playing, including two run-ending ones, where I got trapped outside of the screen after a zone leaded in, unable to move, even after rebooting. Due to how quickly you can breeze through earlier levels once you've mastered the controls, this wasn't a major issue for me, as I could (reasonably) quickly back to where I'd been, but just keep it in mind if this sort of thing easily frustrates you. Overwhelmingly though, I enjoyed my time with the game, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're a fan of the genre :)
Well, the novelty of a nude protagonist drew me in, and despite it's simple premise, I was willing to try it for the price. Got to about the third level where I was wondering what was killing me over and over, realizing it was these green thorny plants that barely stand out from the slightly lighter shade of green grass. And then proceeded to waste the rest of my lives because the thorns, unlike regular enemies, kill you in one hit. Not that it mattered much, since there didn't seem to be a checkpoint in the level at any point. Yeah, no patience for that kind of thing, pass.
Cracking game, awesome sound track, highly reccomend! it's great :)
