In this mythic reimagining of Ancient Egypt, Rosetta stands as the last hope for humanity. Blessed by Apophis, the serpent god of chaos, and Anubis, guardian of the afterlife, she is tasked with defeating corrupted pantheons. Under the scorching reign of Ra, the gods have abandoned mankind—until Rosetta rises to challenge the divine order.
A vast, twisting canyon carved by time and turmoil. Navigate winding paths, leap across precarious ledges, and avoid treacherous oil pits that threaten to send you plunging into the depths. Ancient rock golems patrol the area, barraging you with crushing melee strikes and hurling deadly rocks from afar. Beware—the Earth God’s massive head periodically emerges from the canyon walls, unleashing devastating projectile attacks that keep you on edge. This rugged landscape tests your agility and wits before you face Geb’s overwhelming might.

Don’t let his size fool you—Geb is anything but slow. This towering god lashes out with crushing melee strikes, hurls chunks of stone from afar, and dives underground to strike from unexpected angles. Adapt quickly, read the rumble beneath your feet, and keep moving—or get buried alive.

Traverse a tiered city swallowed by water and storm. Lightning elementals lurk in the depths, striking from the shadows as you navigate slippery walkways and crumbling platforms. The air crackles with electric tension, and the storm never ceases—only the swift and sharp survive this tempestuous domain.

Set is a whirlwind of aggression. He darts across the arena in rapid 3-hit dash chains, unleashes crackling lightning orbs from his core, and summons storm clouds that restore his strength if left unchecked. Stay alert, manage the chaos, and shut down his healing before the desert claims you.

Once a thriving desert settlement, now scorched and silent under an eternal sun. The path to Ra winds through crumbling houses, charred statues, and haunting remnants of lives lost to fire. The oppressive heat radiates from cracked earth, while restless fire elementals flicker through the ruins, igniting bursts of flame that keep you on edge. The shadows grow longer with every step, drawing you deeper into Ra’s fiery domain.

Ra commands the battlefield with divine precision. He hurls scorching projectiles, sweeps massive arcs of flame, and ignites the ground beneath your feet. Periodically, he vanishes in a flash of light—then reappears across the arena, keeping pressure high and positioning critical. This is a fight of endurance and awareness—misstep once, and the sun god won’t give you a second chance.

Each boss defeated grants Rosetta new powers, found in ancient relics and godly artefacts. These enhance her strength and unlock new opportunities for traversal and combat. Progression is tied to mastery: learn from failure, adapt, and grow stronger.
Naja Medjai offers a gentle entry point into the world of Souls-inspired games. With readable patterns, forgiving checkpoints, and tight controls, it's an ideal challenge for younger players, genre newcomers, or fans looking for a more stylized and mythic experience.
I'm currently doing a challenge to play through a free game in every single category on steam. I then give an honest review using ChatGPT.
Game: 151 / 447 Category: Souls-like Imagine a Souls-like where the real final boss isn’t some giant monster—it’s water. Step in a puddle and boom, instant death. No warning, no chance to recover. The enemies barely do any damage, and your sword barely registers hits because the hitboxes are awful. Combat feels clunky and frustrating, not challenging. I kept dying to water and honestly just rage quit. The UI is terrible, animations are stiff, and the whole thing feels like a broken joke rather than a tough game. If you want a real challenge, look elsewhere—this one’s just a frustrating mess.

pretty good. good graphics animation and plot i like killing the ghost things also a pleasant surprise that the game has options for controllers since it says on the store page that it doesn't support them.
