Zawsze marzyłeś/aś o romansie z chłopakami z np kocimi uszami i ogonem?
So, your romanceable options are: 1) Precious sunshine, personal butler, “would you like some tea?” 2) The daddy kink route 3) Tsundere kitty… you are literally dating your cat 4) Sweet bunny prince 5) Possessive pervy boyfriend This game took me on a rollercoaster of emotions when I played the routes in this order. It started out so nice and then it progressively got more intense and I still feel like I have more questions than answers. Despite the creepy concept, it was enjoyable and I got hooked on the mystery. Plus, most of the characters are adorable... though I found the MC to be annoying, so I wasn't much a fan of her. Fair warning: If you aren't a fan of questionable consent in your dating sims, you may want to pass on this one. It's not the worst I've seen, but it was still enough to make my skin crawl uncomfortably.
喜欢鹦鹉线!!
This looked absolutely ridiculous, and so much of the story is. But it's also fun in that fantastical way. You've got all your romance tropes, and an apartment full of sexy men dying to be yours. I got it because of the artwork, and I wasn't disappointed
So I recommended, but I would like to say that I recommend it only if it is on sale when you get it and you aren't expecting something beefy with a great actual story. The story that you get from this is more of a premise. I finished all routes in about 4 hours, although I didn't care to get the best endings, and there are no 'bad' endings by the game's design, but the endings are subjectively bad to me. I also only played the extra scenarios of the guy I liked the best. Pros: Good art. Not amazing, but good. Light smut? I guess? It's not really descriptive enough to be smut. It was... cheap? Didn't take much time to read. Trope breakdown of the boy's personality made it easy for me to play the way I love playing these games, with the boy I like the less going first. Sometimes the boy I pick to play first isn't the worst route, so no surprises here. Made me want to write fanfiction. Only because I could write this far better. Cons: I dislike the format of these games- I like it better when your choices dictate a route. Hand holding- It feels like a "my first Otome" game. A character at the end of the routes tells you that you have to complete all the routes for the 'entire' story. I figured out the entire story halfway through the second route I played. This may be a plus for people. Characters- Every boy in this game is bad. They are just tropes. Not dressed up in anyway. They are even sometimes referred to in the actual game by their tropes. Playing one of the characters romance that she had a past with is stupid, because I'm not invested in them at all, I don't understand why she liked him in the first place and the MC is supposed to be a self insert, it's the reason she is the way she is in a lot of Otome games. MC is... ugh. I hate MC's with hardly any agency, if you are going to get me invested in who she is her only personality traits can't be sensitive doormat with a lot of pets. Romance- There is no romance in here. She gets dragged around and touched without her permission and sometimes while she is actively saying no. The only guy coming close to an actual romance with her is Ramin, the older brother type of character. That's mostly due to the fact that compared to the other boys his trope makes him far more caring than the others. He actually cares about her feelings. In every route. Romance is not seeing a boy shirtless. Choices sometimes don't make sense- I shouldn't get a better score with the guy that is fighting with the others by saying I care about them all. Some characters make sense for that to be the case, but not all and that is what they did. Plot-
So your pets turned into humans? I'm okay with that. I have a problem with the actual plot, not the device that gets us there. A boy loved a girl who got hit by a car trying to save her dog ( who happened to be human ). She died, and he found a way to move on. But he still loved her, so when he met a girl that looks like her and acted like her a little, he started dating her. Never told her about it at all. He has a friend that wanted to date him but was upset that he was still in love with his ex so introduced MC to him in hopes she would be his rebound. So that friend started to threaten him to break up with MC and instead of doing the rational thing, ignoring the threats, talking to her and then the police, the idiot actually breaks up with her. Then she goes home to see her pets have turned human. All of them are in love with her, all of them fight over her ( expect Ramin who just loves her in silence pretending not to ) and will turn back into pets in a week. You find the man who turned them into humans and it's the dog of the girl who had died. He just wanted the MC's ex to be unhappy for the rest of his life, because the woman he loved picked MC's ex and he moved on from love that was supposed to be eternal.
That is the entire plot.
This is my favorite of the several Dogenzaka Lab games I've played so far. I enjoyed playing each route and getting to know each of the pets as human men. I loved Lufna's route the most, then Lize was a close second, Ramin, Assam, Reito. The only thing I did not like about the game was the bonus content, not the "sequel" part which was great on all of them, but the one obsessed with the MC dieting; I was especially disappointed with Ramin's approach to this bonus content and felt it was out of character for him to have that kind of response to her "situation." I feel like Lufna handled it the best, then Lize and Assam are tied, and Reito handled it slightly better than Ramin but not as well as the other guys.
