The game is entertaining if you enjoy other games like supermarket simulator or bookshop simulator. The art style is cute, and the progression to later tiers of machines definitely eliminates some of the early frustrations (especially with customers stealing things). That said, while controller support is provided, it is NOT optimized. I played with an Xbox controller and the computer menus were atrocious. The game was clearly designed with mouse and keyboard in mind. Play with those - it'll save you frustration.
i didn't hesitate to buy this game & i have barely played it yet but i liked it straight away. i am playing on steamdeck with whatever settings it loaded with & it is working fine although the controls are a bit different from what i am used to but it displays what buttons & options so you dont have to try & remember. i decided to install the demo & play that first just to get used to stuff & im not sure how to get a tutorial so i turned on the show hints option but i dont know if that is it or not? thankfully there is not a lot of cleaning to do at the start, it takes next to no time to do sop its not as tedious as other games such as gas station sim (i do like that game though). i also love anomoly games , i have no idea what anomolies are about in this game but having the option to play with them off in relaxed cozy mode or with them on in normal mode is great. i will be back to write more when i have played more but im really liking this game.
This game is truly a gem. I had a few minor bugs throughout my playthrough, but otherwise I was impressed by how much value and depth this game provided. It's worth at least double what they're asking at full price.
the perfect spooky barista game. im obsessed
This has become one of my go-to cozy games right there with Stardew Valley and Traveler's Rest. My 13 year old daughter and I both really enjoy playing this game as the devs did a great job making this playable across all ages. It feels kind of slow going at first and if you're not careful and you buy too many upgrades too quickly you could accidentally burry yourself and not be able to keep up anymore and then your business rating will suffer. So take it at it's pace and trust that the tools they've added to the game will help you as they are unlocked. They devs are paying attention to feedback from the community and are adding to it as people bring up concerns or bugs etc so if something is rubbing you the wrong way and you submit a review/report/whatever, they'll likely look into it. Highly recommend for anybody who enjoys these types of games. It has a lot more to it than you would think.
I had an issue that the debt limit wasn't clear, but the developer seems very responsive.
Fantastic cosy game, can take at your own pace depending on save style. Really enjoy the art style.
best coffee game I've ever played <3
I am new to cozy games and I got this because I wanted to try a spooky cute game that I could use my controller to play. Most of the game play/movement is good for controller but I find navigating the shop computer on controller so annoying I switched to keyboard. I did normal mode first to see how it was, as someone looking for a low stress game this was super stressful because of timing and feeling rushed. However, so far, I did not mind having to deal with the anomalies and wouldn't have minded them on the chill mode. I bought this game on sale for $8 and I believe it is worth the money spent, very cute and has potential to be better.
There is so much to do!! I love the level of customization, you can decorate exactly how you want to. It's seriously addicting, there is a lot to work toward that keeps you motivated. I find some sims get stale pretty fast, but this one has kept me occupied longer than others and I can see myself coming back to it over and over again! Perfect cafe sim with spooky-cute vibes.
