About

Welcome to MY HOTEL – a place where every corridor hides a secret, and every step could be your last.
The 1950s, Chicago. You take control of The Griffin Royal Hotel – a legendary place that once thrived with life, but now stands as a silent witness to a dark history. Add "My Hotel" to your wishlist on Steam if you dare to uncover the secrets that have endured within its walls.

Decades ago, the hotel belonged to your uncle, William Griffin, a man whose story did not end on his own terms. He was brutally murdered, and the culprit was never found. Now, twenty years later, you return to Chicago as Thomas Griffin. You face a difficult mission – unraveling the mystery of his death and restoring the hotel to its former glory. But remember, every answer might lead to more questions, and the past rarely reveals its secrets without a fight.
Forge alliances to survive.
Four factions rule Chicago – each one powerful, ruthless, and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their goals. The Local Police, the Italian Mafia, the Russian Gang, and the enigmatic Damocles. Take on their tasks, earn their trust, but be careful – one wrong move could destroy everything you've built. Every mission carries risk, and if one of the factions marks you as an enemy... well, in Chicago, there’s no way out of that.
Run the hotel as if your life depends on it.
Your guests are as diverse as they are mysterious, and your choices have consequences. Manage the rooms, run the bar, fight off rats, and pay attention to every detail because every moment of negligence could cost you more than you think. Collect your uncle Griffin’s antiques – pieces of history that may prove crucial. Choose your guests wisely, for not everyone comes with good intentions.

Solving the mystery of William Griffin’s death, balancing alliances, and managing the hotel are challenges that won’t forgive mistakes. You might not succeed on your first attempt – you might never discover everything hidden within the Griffin Royal. But if you have the courage, this place is waiting for you.
The only question is, are you ready to face the dark past of The Griffin Royal Hotel?

Okay, so ... after playing for nearly 7 hours... I must say I didn't recommend this game;for now. (In hope the dev would fix so many things that inconvenient.) (tbh this is my first time giving a no recommendation to the game ... its really sadden me even though I really excited when the game first release.) 1. The subtitle is too small and hard to read. Of course, it's readable BUT it's just to hard to read a small text with white font color that sometimes it blended with the background! (specially the table.) 2. There are no control setting on the game? Like, keybind setting or something?! 3. The video setting also non-existent ... like, bloom setting? FOV setting? motion blur? 4. The door AND llift is buggeddd >:( 5. Any chance player can customized to speed up the clock next update? 6. The balance on the affinity between factions(?) is broken. You got minus point when you accept a guest. You also got a MINUS point when you decline the guest? Chose one laaaaaaaa. 7. Buying alcohol on the bar doesn't even help. The point is too low, and the price is expensive~ The story is interesting though. So I really hope the minus things above could be fixed or balanced soon.
This game has potential to be so much fun, however I got super bored easily. I wanted to like this game but I just couldn't. I couldn't even figure out how to catch the rats. I hate leaving a negative review for a game especially when the dev gave me a key. I just wanted more. I was super excited to play this game and wish it lived up to my expectations. I hope with some polish that this game gets better <3 I made a play through over on my Youtube channel for anyone interested in watching a no commentary play through. As always, every gamer plays differently. Please consider supporting the dev's and purchasing the game. https://youtu.be/DZvRf_mYWrc
Good idea, sadly dev left the game barebones unfinished.
I don't normally leave reviews on games. But I will make an exception for this game. I tried to get my money back for this game but unfortunately took me longer than 2 hrs to realize what a piece of crap this game was. It is very pretty and the concept had a good intention but fundamentally it was horribly built. The rats is a a huge turn off, especially since there is no real way to manage them. The "faction" system in game is terribly built. The customization of the rooms started out as a great idea until you force the factions to dictate the room set up. There is no real way to make money in the game and what money you do make is forced into trying to keep a balance on the factions. The factions themselves is super imbalanced. This game needs a total overhaul and some more thought into the dynamics of the game. I am super disappointed that i have to give these guys a bad review but everyone I know that bought this game had the same thought as to what it was going to be by the trailer. It is a terrible game. I hope the developers see all the negative feed back they are getting on their game and fix it.
EDIT: I have had to change my review to not recommended, because when I did get the "win" ending, it didn't let me continue to play through- even though it implies you can. I tried to do a couple fixes (eg leaving the game and coming back, verifying the files) to no avail. You get this quest, and the whole game just ends. You cannot continue to play the hotel and increase your rep and open more rooms etc. Very disappointing. I will happily change my review if the developers fix the issues within the game. So, lets start with, I am 25hours into playing this game as of writing this. Is this game buggy? Yes. Are there a hilarious amount of rats to catch? Yes (although they reset every time you log back in, so if they get totally out of control, you can just log out and log back in- rat issue fix for a while) Is there a notable difference on the difficulty levels? Yes, and the rewards correlate to the difficulty (on easy mode I only got 1 decoration, on Medium I tend to get 2 or 3 on hard I was getting them almost every quest, give or take. The higher the difficulty level, the more rare the quest rewards are) You can speed up time between activities and to the next day, and most work arounds for the bugs are easy as speeding up time, or verifying the files of the game. I really hope the developer doesn't give up on this game, it is a great management/city builder/decorator game, where you dont just lose, you get killed or end up homeless.
This is a low-budget game, I like the history based atmosphere. It's a slow game, and is one I would recommend for someone who wants a more laid back/casual type game. I saw some complain about getting killed off really early in the game, I will offer one hint... Booze... yep that's my tip... booze... pay attention and you'll figure it out :) I played it before it reached it's current release satge and can agree that there were a lot of bugs early on, but I can also say that many of those bugs have been fixed. kick back and relax while you get to know the factions, pay attention to the rats... they multiply like rabbits if you don't... enjoy decorating the rooms, and the unfolding story. Grab a book about Chicago from the era the game takes place to gain a bit deeper understanding about the era during the slow times in the game. I do recommend the game, but if you only enjoy fast paced intense combat games and can't stand the idea of having to wait for things to happen, then this game may not be for you. If you don't mind waiting, and putting in some effort from time to time, at a slower pace, well this casual paced game may be worth checking out.
If you accept a client in your hotel - you lose faction reputation. If you decide not to accept the client - you also lose faction reputation. Both decisions results in GAME OVER. This game might be good but this faction thing is pure stupidity and I don't reccomend it until the dev fix it.
Thank you for giving me the game key to stream this game! My Hotel has a very interesting concept of a management game (running a hotel) while also being a murder mystery game. I do like the game play and the different factions and think the game has a lot of potential. Now on to the criticism, In its current state there are a few issues with the game, there is not much to do in between tasks and you often have to go to the clock to skip time. Placing furniture can get you locked in a room and you will have to restart the game. As other reviews mention as of now, the game is still very unbalanced. In it's current state i can't recommend this game but i'm excited to see future improvements.
