My Dorm - Season 1

Not a great game by modern standards. There's the basis of a good game here, but the execution really lets it down. The writing feels very choppy and doesn't flow well. Despite how much dialogue is spent on getting to know the women in the story, they end up not feeling like real people who happen to like the MC. They're just existing for him ♥♥♥♥ (or get naked in front of) at some point. The translations are somewhat rough, so you spend the whole game working out what people meant to say instead of what they actually said. It also leads to sometimes trying understand if you missed a joke or if the translation was just horrible. The art is old and pretty meh, most of the models are the standard skinny white chicks with their hair being their only defining feature and no curves to appreciate. (And the characters that make the biggest deal about their hair, made some the worst decisions when came to cutting/styling. There's literally a new girl at the end who's hair came out better than two of the main cast.) There's attempts at diversifying the model types, but it's obvious what the dev's tastes are and it feels like they put more effort into pubic hair than a good lineup of models. Animations are poor and rarely add much to the story. The sex scenes feel repetitive, are overly verbose, and very robotic. At a certain point it's not worth watching them. There are so many chances for the scenes to be more unique and go in a different direction, but the writer doesn't go for it or only half-asses it. (ex. The "domination" route with the cashier.) The MC tries pretty hard to act like he's got everything figured out and controls the women during their conversations, and it's really off-putting at times. Due to poor writing and translations, his constant attempts at normalizing age-gap and non-mono relationships make him seem like the guy that doesn't really know what he's talking about but he's going to keep hammering away because he knows you'll give in eventually. He also infantilizes the women around him and limits their autonomy, so they don't have much of a role in what's happening. It's like he sees them as pets instead of partners. I don't even mind manipulation in a game if that's the type of character he's supposed to be, but the writer should own it and deliver the content in a smooth enticing way. But this brute force approach is obviously due to lack of skill.

主观评价：5/10 从进入游戏的第一秒开始，女性角色就开始发情，明摆着告诉你这是一个全家桶拔作。但无论是建模还是材质，一眼老游戏。放在今天，确实太粗糙了。同时，一个黄油搞你妈的DEI呢？（游玩六小时后才出现明显的LGBT元素，这是不是诈骗？）不可能再买下一季的，买就是助纣为虐。 （1）指引：A。内置的攻略指南很详细了。从获得成就的角度来说很方便。（其实这个游戏的选项分支很明显，有没有指南区别不会很大，但制作者的做法还是贴心的。） （2）建模：E。建模质量很不稳定，人的脸部经常会发生变化。精度偶尔还挺高，但大多数时候非常粗糙。人物身材建模比较真实，大小合适的胸部，稍微有点小肚子，没有BIMBO化，属于你在现实生活里最常见到的那种女孩身材。本来主要角色的建模虽然老旧且粗糙，但基本审美还是正常的。但是，他妈的一个黄油你给我搞政治正确？玩白左政治把脑子玩坏了是吧？（黄油是用下半身投票的作者你不会不知道吧？哦，大概率是知道然后故意这么做，至于为什么，不用我解释）你自己看看最后搬进宿舍那几个人——一个白癜风患者，一个彩虹女同，一个铁T，一个环保主义者。本来我还是给的及格分的，现在不可能及格了。 （3）动画：D。基本上是纯粹的PPT游戏，是的，就连HCG也是PPT。有那么一些动画，但动画简短、动画帧率不稳定且镜头少（搞得男主跟个秒射男一样）。唯一值得称赞的就是这个游戏喜欢大量使用第一人称视角，喜欢拉近人脸镜头，一定程度上可以提升代入感。 （4）配乐：A。配乐可能是这个游戏最大的优点，大多数BGM还不错。呻吟声配得也不错，机械感没那么强。良好的配乐拯救了无聊的对话，呻吟声拯救了PPT一样的H动画。 （5）节奏：C。很多转场比较生硬，剧情衔接也很生硬，总之就是粗糙。 （6）剧情：D。游戏的前四个小时没什么剧情的，就是设定一堆张开大腿等着你的姑娘等着你象征性攻略一下，其实就是走个攻略流程，因为她们大腿已经早就合不拢了。没有任何逻辑地这些NPC就被主角迷得七荤八素的，作者甚至懒得编一个看得过去的理由。说实话，哪怕在拔作里，这种剧情也太潦草了。然后在四小时后神秘兮兮地给你来一点悬念，讲道理，这一样是很糟糕的剧本创作手法。给人的感觉就是本来只想单纯写个疯狂啪啪啪的短篇，然后突然心血来潮有了个不成熟的灵感，半路塞进剧本里面，一边继续大量啪啪啪混时长和给自己贫瘠的大脑争取时间，一边绞尽脑汁硬编点主线剧情，显得我这个游戏还是有故事的。总之，三流的剧本。 （7）台词：E。基于上一点，前四小时毫无营养，三句话不离下半身的事，这个占比在视觉小说中基本也是第一梯队了。这也太他妈“纯粹”了，作者真的是纯粹的牛子人，连基本的生活日常对话都几乎写不出来了，女性NPC在一起聊天就是聊男人，生活中除了和男人做爱以外似乎没有任何别的事可以做。男主和女性NPC在一起聊天就是聊我怎么干你们，他妈的这个作者写的台词真是纯粹到令人忍俊不禁。另外，这个游戏建立后宫的台词基本就是邪教+传销，疯狂互相洗脑，不得不说也是独树一帜地偷懒。 （8）翻译：F。基本上属于不太能读的水平。我是不信这个是AI翻译的，因为我用软件AI翻译的比自带的强多了。 （9）惊喜（惊吓？）：我还是低估了这个作者的包容性了。一般熟女游戏熟到个40多岁到头了，我万万没想到这吊游戏里还能有66岁的熟女。一般的全家桶里什么阿姨姑姑妈妈之类的我已经习以为常了，从来没有想到有一天能在黄油里攻略外婆。荒诞到我不知所言，只能说一句卧槽牛逼。 Subjective Rating: 5/10 From the very first second you enter the game, the female characters are already in heat, blatantly telling you this is a family-themed nukige. But both the models and textures look like an old game at first glance. By today's standards, they're really too rough. Also, why the fck is there DEI in a porngame? (Only after six hours of play do obvious LGBT elements appear—isn't that fraud?) There's no way I'm buying the next season; buying it would be aiding evil. (1) Guidance: A. The built-in walkthrough is very detailed and makes achievement hunting convenient. (Truth be told, the branching choices are so obvious that a guide barely matters, but the dev's consideration is still nice.) (2) Models: E. The model quality is wildly inconsistent—facial features practically morph from scene to scene. Occasionally the detail is surprisingly high, but most of the time it's extremely rough. Body proportions are relatively realistic: modestly sized chests, slightly soft bellies, no bimbo-fication. It’s the kind of body you see every day in real life. Even though the main characters’ models are old and crude, the base aesthetic was at least normal. But why the fck are you forcing political correctness into a porngame? Has all that leftist politics rotted your brain? (You do realize eroge players vote with their crotch, right? Oh, you probably did and did it on purpose—no need for me to explain why.) Just look at the people who move into the dorm at the end: a vitiligo patient, a rainbow lesbian, a stone butch, an environmentalist. I was originally going to give this a passing grade; now that’s utterly impossible. (3) Animation: D. It’s basically a pure PowerPoint game—yes, even the HCGs are slideshows. There are some animations, but they’re short, the framerate is unstable, and there are so few camera angles it makes the male lead look like a two-pump chump. The only thing worth praising is the frequent use of first-person perspective and extreme close-ups on faces, which somewhat improves immersion. (4) Music: A. The soundtrack is probably the game’s biggest strength; most of the BGMs are quite good. The moaning sounds are done well too, without sounding overly mechanical. Solid BGM rescues the boring dialogue, and the moans rescue the slideshow-like H-scenes. (5) Pacing: C. Many scene transitions are jarring, and the plot connections feel forced—in a word, crude. (6) Story: D. For the first four hours, there’s virtually no plot. It just parades a bunch of girls with their legs already wide 0pen, waiting for you to symbolically “conquer” them. You’re just going through a conquest flowchart because they couldn’t keep their legs shut from the get-go. Without any logic, these NPCs are instantly head over heels for the MC; the author couldn’t even bother to fabricate a halfway decent excuse. Honestly, even by nukige standards, this kind of story is sloppy. Then, after four hours, it suddenly gets all mysterious and throws in a bit of suspense. Frankly, that’s just terrible scriptwriting. It feels like the writer only planned a short story of wild b4nging, then halfway through had an half-baked inspiration and crammed it into the script—padding the runtime with endless b4nging while their barren brain scrambled to force out a main storyline, just to pretend the game “has a story.” In short: a third-rate script. (7) Dialogue: E. Following the above, the first four hours are completely void of substance. Three sentences in and it’s straight back to crotch talk. The ratio of that in this visual novel is basically top-of-the-charts. It’s way too fking “pure”—the author is truly a guy who thinks solely with his d1ck, almost incapable of writing basic everyday chatter. When female NPCs talk to each other, they talk about men; in their lives, aside from having sex with men, there seems to be literally nothing else to do. When the male lead talks to female NPCs, it’s all about how he’s going to b4ng them. Fk, the dialogue is so absurdly pure it’s hilarious. Moreover, the harem-building conversation scenes are basically cult + pyramid scheme tactics, frantically brainwashing each other. I have to say, that’s one uniquely lazy way to write. (8) Translation: F. It’s practically unreadable. I refuse to believe this is an AI translation, because the AI translations I do with software are way better than the built-in one. (9) Surprise (or Shock?): I still underestimated this author’s “inclusivity.” Usually, a milf game tops out with women in their 40s. I never imagined this damn game would feature a 66-year-old milf. I’m used to aunts, stepmoms, and mothers in the typical family-bucket package, but I never thought I’d one day be romancing a grandma in a porngame. It’s so absurd I have no words—all I can say is: holy sh1t, impressive.

O jogo começa meio ''ruinzinho'' com mtos dialogos chatos e repetitivos do tipo ''alguem fala algo e dps o mc vai e pensa na conversa que acabou de ter tudo denovo'' porem isso só dura no começo e dps disso a historia começa desengatar e ficar bem legal com varias personagens para TODOS os gostos e sendo um jogo no estilo harem tu poderá conquistar todas! Assim como a historia alguns personagens começa de um jeito e muda durante a historia melhorando suas aparencia e renders! Bem eu recomendo mto se voce gosta de um game harem com varias personagens eu me diverti muito jogando me aprofundando nos personagens porem pode não ser para todo mundo ja que o jogo exige muita leitura!.

Dated and surface-level sci-fi, but completely saved by its cast. Despite its glaring technical flaws and a frustratingly shallow sci-fi plot, My Dorm - Season 1 still manages to be incredibly engaging. It’s a game that hooks you not because of its overarching mystery, but because the characters are genuinely adorable and highly endearing. Visually, there is no denying that the game features dated and stiff renders, and the sound effects—while a nice bonus compared to other titles that ignore audio entirely—remain heavily limited. Furthermore, the writing drops the ball on its biggest narrative hook: it throws clones into the mix but completely refuses to dive deeper or explain how any of it actually works, leaving a massive plot point feeling like an afterthought. Yet, none of that stops the game from being a fun, addicting ride. The developers nailed the character writing, making the cast lovable enough to carry the experience. You find yourself pushing past the rough edges and the half-baked sci-fi lore just to spend more time interacting with them. It’s flawed, but the charm of the girls makes it hard to put down.

So at first I was a bit let down with this one. Seemed kinda one-dimensional and cliche' and tropes-4-days. After playing it longer, the story is actually quite in-depth, and convoluted. If it weren't for the constant grammar errors (or perhaps translation issues), and the minor graphic problems (the frames of the pictures jump forward quite fast on a lot of scenes, and some of the animations are too dark for my tastes) I would be giving it a completely glowing review. Overall I am enjoying the plot, and the story. It has had a good number of LoL moments, twists, and amusing 'punny' jokes as well. Have high expectations for the next one (just annoyed it is a multi-parter like too many of this genre). Final note: WRITE THE STORY, RELEASE THE GAME. SEASONS SHOULD NOT BE A THING FOR VIDEO GAMES!!!! Its like waiting years for the last book in a trilogy; its annoying and IT SUCKS!

The story is strong, through most of it. Each day is considered a chapter, I guess. Because each day seems long and complex. Well, after day 4. 1,2,and3 go by rather quickly. But without skipping, and not taking 2 romance options, I've logged 36hrs into it. A few time I left it on pause to get a few things done, so it's probably closer to 30 if I hadn't. But Day 13 and 14 got to feel short. Felt rushed and incomplete. But even though a quite a few things happened, it didn't feel like they were taking their time with making it complete. There was even a few series of black out background and just texts to read. Which then just confirmed with me that they were trying to rush it. Quite a few spelling and grammar mistakes. And there was evidence in places that it didn't matter if you change their names. It didn't matter at all, after all, to the Devs. So yeah, I was mad about that. Why give us an option to change names if the story words, or phone scenes doesn't change too? Still gonna come up with the original names any damned way. Ok, artistry was ok. Not spectacular, but not bad. A few places they turned into sh_tty claymation CGI characters. But over-all it was at mostly consistent. And I did say mostly... BUT, now some major issues... The MC had quite a few skin tone issues. not very consistent between days, and sometimes scenes within the days. His dangly was too oversized and didn't look natural, in the sense of shape, proportion, coloration, and entry. And what the hell is up with the giraffe tongue?! Sure, you want to show kind of an FP view of what was going on. But to do that was disgusting! Just glad this season didn't have GILF crap in it. There for a minute it was almost like it was headed that way. I would've asked for a refund right away if it went there. Glad they give us options on who to romance. Also who we could get pregnant. So far, for this season, the only one that couldn't happen to get pregnant was the redheaded cousin-not cousin. Kind of felt bad that I'd have to wait til season 2 to get that one accomplished. Well, also the dorm renters. But I didn't expect those to happen anyway. Anyway! If you're looking for a good story, even with the spelling and grammar mistakes, and decent enough artistry, AND a decently long enough adventure, then you'd like this AVN. I'm definitely watching out for part 2. Even though it's going to take forever. Just hope the Devs don't rush it and will make it look better, with a longer (or at least just as long) story. Just remember Devs..... DON'T rush the end of the next one.

Брал игру по скидке примерно в 40% и то считаю переплатил. Модельки неприятные, худосочные - что в возрасте, что юная - всё на одно лицо и сложение. Но это всё ерунда, печально другое - сюжет пустышка и неинтересен, еле доиграл до половины и бросил,второй сезон точно не куплю и вам советую если только по огромной скидке от 70% и выше,для ознакомления если только. В игре хочется в первую очередь интересную историю и реализм, а тут вешаются на нг прямо от входной двери и далее. Не стоит ни ваших денег ни внимания, полный шлак.

Excellent art, writing, and especially pacing. There were barely any moments where the dialogue dragged, or I felt the need to go back and change a choice. The story hits all the clichés you're looking for in a harem AVN. Some cest and breeding themes, though it chickens out with the unnecessary step-everything background story. One thing that bothered me was Scarlet's name. It really doesn't suit her. Most of the names I wouldn't bother changing, but hers yes, call her something else. An easy recommendation.
