Murder Is Game Over

A fun and quick little RPG Visual Novel that makes for a nice palate cleanser between larger releases. Also, if you look hard enough there are 31 doggie bags, not 30!

I wish the developers would give the option to use WASD instead of arrow keys (changing characters could be C for change instead of S for switch) or even better, keymapping. Also, the map is nearly unreadable with tiny neon text on a black background. And there's sooo much empty space to wander around in search of doggy bags. Nevertheless, I enjoy interviewing all the characters and solving the mystery at the end, and for only $5 I think it's a worthwhile way to spend a few hours.

For a mystery game, it's not too complex. The suspects were quite shallow, and I've been more shocked by the outcome of some episodes of Scooby-Doo than by this game's ending. However, considering the cost, it was a great way to spend a couple of hours (119 minutes to be exact). It was pretty easy to earn all the achievements, and Cleo's sprite is super cute watch.

A fun little whodunnit. Its a good way to kill some time, decent story. Its on RPG Maker so its got all the things that go along with those games. If you're ok with keyboard controls and retro graphics and enjoy mysteries I think you'll like it. Not bad for the price.

Ich hatte viel Spaß beim Spielen von 'Murder is Game Over'. Das Spiel bietet eine spannende Atmosphäre und interessante Rätsel, die für eine gute Unterhaltung sorgen. Allerdings ist es ziemlich einfach gehalten und auch ziemlich kurz, was es für erfahrene Spieler vielleicht etwas enttäuschend macht. Dennoch macht es Spaß, solange man nach einer schnellen, unterhaltsamen Erfahrung sucht.

Неплохая короткая игра. Лёгкая в плане сложности, но внимательность не повредит. Простоватая в плане сюжета. В целом ничего особенного, но о проведённых в ней двух часах я не жалею. Какую цену считать справедливой для этой игры - другой вопрос, который каждый ответит себе сам. Покупал бандл из трёх игр. Это первая игра в серии и создаёт впечатление своеобразной пробы пера, которая потом породила новые проекты. На момент написания отзыва прошёл только две игры, но видно что во вторую часть внесли ряд элементов, которых не было в первой части, при этом сохраняя её атмосферу и общие идеи. Третья часть, судя по скринам, тоже совершенствуется. Видно что серия развивается с каждой игрой.

The Murder is Game Over series is amazing. While the first certainly is a little rough around the edges, it is a true detective game that showcases wonderful investigation, deduction, and piecing thungs together. One thung i particularly like about the full series is the whodunit aspect - you could find out who did it earlier if you follow all the clues. Each game does this particularly well.

田舎町のお城で起こった著名なゲームクリエイターの殺人事件をワンコと一緒に解決するゲーム。 操作が簡単かつ謎解きがあって面白い。 最後は名探偵ポワロのように、関係者を大広間に集めて推理を披露。 ちょっとしたホラー要素もありました。 短編だし、平易な英文なので、推理系アドベンチャーゲームが好きな人はもちろん、英語多読をやっている人にもおすすめです。 英語がわからない人でも、PCOTとDEEPLを使えるので、ぜひ試してみてください。 私はこのシリーズ好きです。 まだ続編はプレイしていないけど、ミニシリーズな感じで続いてほしいな～と思います。
