I have to say, I had a blast playing the game and creating a noir narrative for it. There is still a lot of polish that could go into making the game feel more complete and optimized, but what's here is great for a small team.

Passend ist das ganze Spiel durchzogen von feinem Humor. Die Kollegen machen dumme Sprüche und die Erläuterungen zu den jeweiligen Items, die man im Laufe des Spiel einsammelt und benutzt sind alles andere als trocken. Allerdings gibt es leider keine Sprachausgabe! Alle Informationen werden über ein interaktives Pad am linken Arm des Robots verarbeitet. Hinweise finden, Dinge auffinden und abgeben, hier und da eine kleine Interaktion und Rätsel lösen. Da allerdings das ganze Spiel einen eigenen ansprechenden Charakter hat fällt das erstmal gar nicht so ins Gewicht. Es mach Spaß. Gesteuert wird der Robot durch Teleportation. Auf dem Vive-Controller durch Berühren des Touchpads, dadurch hüpft man leider immer mal wieder ungewollt irgendwo hin. Leider speicher Mr.Hack Jack den Fortschritt des Spielers nicht ab und man muss bei erneutem Spielen, wieder von Vorn beginnen. Das scheint allerdings ein Bug zu sein, der nur ganz selten auftritt. Einen Wiederspielwert sehe ich nicht. Hat man einmal alle Rätsel gelöst, passiert ja auch nichts neues mehr. Wenn man aber wie ich, das letzte Level nicht lösen kann (ich finde einfach das komplette Codewort für den Safe nicht) dauert es natürlich entsprechend länger .... wer suchet der findet, sagt man ja so schön. Ich konnte das Spiel nun erfolgreich beenden. Leider gibt es kein Outro oder änliches. Es hört einfach auf, bzw. man landet wieder im Büro. Officer Cole Phelps can pack up! We are the little flying robot Hack Jack and are assigned by our boss to investigate an incredible murder case in the local red light district. To help us he kindly provides us with a bunch of rather useless robot colleagues. The guys can't really do anything and so once again we have to do everything on our own... Mr.Hack Jack is set in a steampunk robot world, in which cars run with e.g. potato energy... all in a nice comic style. The whole game is suitably interspersed with fine humor. The colleagues make stupid sayings and the explanations of the respective items, which you collect and use in the course of the game, are anything but dry. However, unfortunately there is no voice output! All information is processed via an interactive pad on the robot's left arm. Well, robots don't have to communicate audibly, it takes much too long anyway. Basically, the four levels always consist of the same tasks. Finding clues, finding and delivering things, here and there a little interaction and solving puzzles. But since the whole game has its own appealing character, this doesn't really matter at first. It's fun. The robot is controlled by teleportation. On the Vive controller by touching the touchpad, which makes you jump somewhere unintentionally every now and then. Unfortunately, Mr.Hack Jack does not save the progress of the player and you have to start again from the beginning when playing again. But this seems to be a bug that occurs only very rarely. The developers are already working on it. If you play fast you can play Mr.Hack Jack: Robot Detective well in 2h. I do not see a replay value. Once you have solved all puzzles, nothing new happens. But if you can't solve the last level like I did (I just can't find the complete codeword for the safe) it takes a lot longer ..... Whoever is searching will find it, so they say. I could now finish the game successfully. Unfortunately there is no Outro or similar. It simply stops, or you end up back in the office. I've enjoyed the gameplay so far and as others have said, it's a very polished detective game. Only four cases seems a bit short, but not too bad if you get the game on sale. The locomotion is very sensitive and difficult to control in WMR. All it takes is a light touch on the trackpad (not a press,) and you teleport immediately when you let go. I accidentally teleported into walls more times than I can count. My only disappointment is that solving the case was too abrupt. Once I reached 100% completion, a button appeared that said 'Submit Case' or something similar. It took me back to the office and that was literally it. There was no fanfare, no 'Good Job,' confetti, nothing. I don't know if that was a bug or intended. I at least expected to see the perp get arrested at the end.

This game is a very polished puzzle game that is great for beginners to show off the power of VR. the levels are long enough to be fun but short enough that someone else can get a turn after. its not meant for VR masters so if you want smooth turning and free locomotion from every game give it a miss but if you are starting out in VR and want fun with interesting mechanics or something thats not another wave based shooter give it a bash or just watch me play through the 1st level here https://youtu.be/M-0XAGcBPWE

Игра о милых роботах полицейских, которым постоянно нужна ваша помощь. Из плюсов - качественно сделана, местами забавная и с приятной графикой. Из минусов - простая ( Указано в метках и жанре "казуальная" ), однотипные задания ( вытекает из "казуальная" ) и очень быстро проходится (часа за 1.5). Итого с вычетом указанного 2 + и 1 - P.S. Не могу сказать, что она мне не понравилась, но я бы предпочел увидеть 1 полностью законченную историю, начиная от анализа мотивов, до выслеживания и поимки преступника, чем отдельные моменты сбора улик. P.S.S Если игра будет стоит рублей 180-200, то можно взять.

比较轻松愉快的解密游戏，难度不高。说是警察侦察现场，每个环节都是一个小游戏，玩玩小游戏就能判案了。玩着还是比较愉快的。

10/10 would smoke that cigar and speak with a thick voice before heading for the crime scene. Cute adventure, so far make me think to "i expect you to die". free roaming could have been a nice touch, at least as an option

Missions had good and interesting stories Environments and the characters have cool and detailed models Puzzles are fun and challenging, though get slightly repetitive sometimes No voice acting but it's still got good dialogue Teleportation only is fine but can sometimes be annoying due to sensitivity Overall I recommend the game if you're interested in puzzles and escape room type games. It's a great game and the $15 price is perfect for what it is.
