Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I get an average of 14 FPS in this game, but I still love it! No regrets about buying it. Since I don’t have the chance to go mushroom hunting in real life, Morels: The Hunt lets my dream life exist. The soundtrack could be better, but everything else is just marvelous.
A relaxing photography game where you look for morel mushrooms. Makes me want to take a hike in the woods.
A Tranquil Nature Escape with Just a Hint of Survival
Morels: The Hunt is a beautiful and relaxing nature sim that invites you to explore the wilds of the United States across seven distinct locations. Whether you're foraging for mushrooms or photographing wildlife, it’s an ambient experience perfect for slowing down—especially when winter outside means silence and bare trees. Core Activities: - Mushroom hunting and animal photography form the heart of the game. - Each snapshot or foraged fungus earns points you can spend on survival gear, creature comforts, and unlocking new areas. - At day’s end, return to your home base with a store, trophy room (customizable with your pictures), and even a sampling area to try ATV or horseback riding. Atmosphere: - The scenery and audio design are standout features—calm, immersive, and rich with gentle sounds of nature. - Though the regional climates may feel most familiar to U.S. players, anyone seeking a digital retreat will find plenty to enjoy. Survival Features: - Includes light survival elements: ticks, poison ivy, and basic overnight needs. - Most mechanics, including spiders and other phobia-triggering content, can be disabled for a gentler experience. Notable Limitations: - No Steam Cloud save support, and it doesn't use common save locations like Documents or paths easily synced with OneDrive. - Day length is locked after starting a career. I chose short days and quickly regretted not being able to adjust it later. Other Features: - Hints of hidden artifacts add depth beyond the flora and fauna. - A sandbox mode lets you play as an animal and roam freely—I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s an intriguing alternative. - The full game season lasts 100 days; I’ve yet to complete it.

Overall: It's not a fast-paced game, but it’s rich in atmosphere and thoughtful touches. Perfect for unwinding, especially when the real world lacks birdsong and green leaves. Just be prepared to manage a few save quirks and system limitations.
I've had this game for over a year. It's definitely a marathon, and I found myself coming back to it when I'm in the mood for a chill walking simulator. Even when things aren't chill, it still feels pretty chill. This game goes great with podcasts or a twitch stream on in the background. I definitely recommend this game if you enjoy walking simulators and collecting things. I've already purchased the second game, and I cannot wait to continue once I finish a season in this one.
