More dark - is a two-dimensional platformer with a side view, with elements of puzzles. The game takes place in a strange place called hell. Not a single person who got there will be able to return back. Or can he still?

More Dark is by no means a perfect game. You play as what appears to be a an imp (whose sprite reminds me of Ned Flanders) that has to solve platforming puzzles to kill prisoners in Hell for some reason while the devil is on vacation. Allow me to go over the cons: It's very short. The dialogue is terribly translated. Said dialogue spoken by Evilina, the demon lady featured in all the art is spoken by a man without any sort of attempt at making it sound like a woman. Said demon lady is the only truly decent-looking pixel art in the game. Most of the difficulty of puzzles is thanks to red herrings. Much of the usable items rely on trial and error because you're only given some of the details about how they work. The unlockable hats rely on finding a key in random levels by hugging the walls to find their exact location rather than being an optional, more-difficult level solution. The presence of a respawn button can make you accidentally kill yourself and add to your kill count. Said button is pointless because you can just exit the level and go back in if you get stuck, and that doesn't count toward death total. Finally, sometimes there's an odd hitbox inconsistency because at one point, I landed right on a normal enemies head and died. Phew. Okay. Wall of text finished. With all of that being said, I still enjoyed the game. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I did. Like I said, it's not long, and it doesn't cost much at all, so if you try it and don't like it, you aren't going to lose much. But, if you're looking for a good puzzle game with demon waifus, you should probably just play Helltaker.
More Dark is one of literally thousands of GameMaker Studio 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam. It's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. It's a basic 2D retro pixel platformer with no serious interest or value for PC gamers. Gameplay consists of puzzle/action platforming as you need to work out how to kill the prisoners and move the boxes around on each single screen level to get to the exit. Like most GameMaker Studio construction kit "games", this features lazy 2D retro pixel "art", instead of professionally done, contemporary PC graphics. Controls and resolution are locked, which pushes this below acceptable standards for PC. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Just like you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear, you can't make a good game from a completely crap game engine. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs. It's hard to say how much of this is just lazy cash grab and how much is a genuine attempt to create a game by filling out templates/copying+pasting things in GameMaker Studio. HugePixel have a large number of these very lazy, low quality products on Steam, and while they're slightly better than most outright asset flips, it's not far off, and it's clear that these are all "minimum viable products". Putting the intent of the developer aside and judging this by its own merits, it has none. If you want a good platformer, try Hollow Knight, they didn't phone that one in. Edit: I had a look at the price, it's an eye watering $11 for 2D retro pixel GameMaker Studio shovelware... this is definitely a lazy cash grab. You can get real games like Shadow of Mordor for less than this trash.
Bare-bones platforming. Okay little pixel graphics, bizarre translation or lack thereof, no real features to speak of. This should be a free game on a website.
Not very good. If you're in it for the art, you're going to be disappointed.
je to uplná sračka hlavně level 15 na to udelat bez smrti. Level design je odflaknuty, hudba nudná, pribeh stoji za picu celkove teto sracce davam -10/10 a nejhorsi hra co jsem kdy hral a uz se tesim az tuhle picovinu dohraju. NEKUPUJTE TO JE TO HNUS :)
👌🏻Cheap 👌🏻Smexy Demon waifu. 👎🏿Smexy Demon waifu voice acted by a man. Badly. Not even a voice modulator. You know you can get voice modulation software for free right? 👎🏿Badly translated English. To the point of being completely incomprehensible gibberish. Get it on sale if it's less than a quid and you like puzzle platformers and demon waifus.
