Monopoly: Star Wars™ Heroes vs. Villains

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. I quite like this version of Monopoly, although it is quite different to standard Monopoly. It's much quicker and simpler to play. I've played a few games at medium level and found it quite enjoyable. In fact, I presently prefer it to the standard Monopoly. However, this may be because it's new and I've played the standard version one too many times. I'm not sure if the ai needs further balancing, however I did notice I was losing battles more often if I wasn't in full control of my team members. I found my ai controlled allies more likely not to aim their die throws, to try and over turn the opponents dice, to hopefully lower their scores in battles. Controlling all my allies seemed to resolve this imbalance. After playing a few games you'll find the game is fairly easy and quick. The theme, sound and music are well presented in my view, although the scenes can become a little repetitive. That said, you can skip scenes if you wish. I'm glad it's different to Monopoly, gameplay wise, as it is refreshing. If I wanted to play standard Monopoly, I can always play the other new version on Steam. I would happily recommend the game, based on the theme and it's fun gameplay. I also like that you can chose form multiple characters and use their various abilities which add variety to the game. Also that losing players can always come back and win if they plan ahead. I imagine younger, less serious players will enjoy the game most, although I'm in my 50's and very happy.

Als Fan von star Wars und Brettspielen gebe ich hier 3 Sterne den Rest hat das spiel noch nicht verdient. Ich hoffe es kommt noch andre Karten mit andren Planeten und Charakteren aus, mehr Animationen rund ums spiel wie. Hotel Zerstörungen per Charakter und weiter Einfluss Events. Daher eher ein spiel was man sich gerne im 50% Sale kaufen sollte da vieles noch nicht Perfekt für Star Wars Fan ist, mit freunden schon spielt macht spaß aber mit den Preis müsst ihr wissen :P
