Basically a one-button fighter where you repeatedly mash the attack button to win. As for the R-18 Patch? The real reason to buy the game? Not much going on there, either. It costs extra, you have to download it from a different site, and it's pretty disappointing. It adds the ability to knock your opponents' clothes off by finishing them with a super move. Only three characters in particular also have the ability to do some additional "stuff" to their opponent after the match is over if they do the super finish. Two of those three characters are clones of each other. This might sound exciting but it's not. Overall this is a pretty cheap cash grab. I'll refrain from asking for a refund just because I want to support the studio with the hope that maybe they'll bring some of their other games (which are much better) to Steam in the future, especially now that Valve is allowing "everything" going forward.
Mechanics are simple and quick to get used to if you ever played a game with a similar engine such as Fighting is Magic (which is now called Them's Fightin' Herds) for example. The characters are quite what you expect from an Eroge title, but if you are here for the oppai and other bits, you will need to install a patch for the full experience. Word of advice: do not play this in full-screen. it is heavily bugged and possibly will not get fixed, due to the fact the engine is old. It is best to play it in windowed or borderless window.

Disclaimer: Prior to playing this, I have already played a game with a similar but more updated fighting system from the same developer. So, MonMusu Fight. For a fighting game especially for this age, it looks kinda clunky and definitely feels clunky. That's partly because it was made under a pretty old engine, Fighter Maker 2K, so there are going to be limitations abound. But it's still a functioning fighter and has its own unique system while still looking very much like a 2D fighter. Get this game if you: -Have experienced standard 2D fighting games before. I personally don't recommend playing this if you haven't played another standard fighting game yet. -Have the patience to get used to how weird juggles are in this game. Think like pre-2000 2D anime fighting game kind of weird. -Want to try a unique kind of 2D fighting system. -Willing to take time to set up an external program in order to enable netplay. Pros: -Controls are super basic compared to the usual fighter, but isn't dumbed down to the point that it just becomes a mash fest. You can utilize the characters' various tools to make an approach that isn't just "mash A". -So far the only fighting game where you can cancel every move into almost everything yet still remaining not-too-broken. The freedom of cancelling is probably the most notable thing about this game's fighting system, as this is what allows people to do ridiculous safe-knockback setups and other things that look both cool _and_ practical. -The game's unique knockback-and-counter mechanics and how winning revolves around setting them up is the game's unique meta. -If you're a fan of the whole Monster Girl trope, then this has some variety. A bit too much on the skimpy side, but it's there nonetheless. -Almost full voice acting. Main character has a functioning story mode if you're into that. Cons: -Old engine and pretty old system. The clunkiness is very evident, so it will take a while to get used to playing this game properly. -Online play requires setting up an external program. Native netplay might be a huge challenge for the developers because of how old the engine is. -Voices tend to overpower the sound effects' volume, which I'm sure will bother some people. Despite its flaws, there's actually quite some potential with this game in terms of how competitive multiplayer can get, but it takes a bit of research and experimentation to really pin down the cool stuff with the freedom this game's fighting system offers.
Crim's Humble Opinion Curator This is a fighter game that was released previously that has been translated and brought to Steam. Made with an engine called fighter maker. The engine is older and very clunky but it still has it's charm. Although the in game pre fight menu leads you to believe the combat is exceedingly complex; it's actually rather simple. There are only four attack types and some of those can be altered by pressing a direction. What this combat system heavily relies on is the ability to counter and juggle your opponent. This is a system you will have to get used to, or your opponent will easily chain 30+ hit combos on you. The monster girl characters are cute enough and there is a decent variety. There are 8 different characters to choose from. Each character has a small blurb of story during story mode and has different voicing. The voice during fights can get old really quickly as in most 2d fighters. If there is more content during story; it is hidden behind an uncensored patch. The publisher who put the game on steam is the one selling the uncensored patch so it would seem unlikely that it will be floating around for free. Once you get used to the clunkiness and understand the counter mechanic this game because more enjoyable. There is online play; but you will have to jump through some hoops to get there. There are discussions to help with this and players willing to help you set it up. The only other issue I had with the game was a few menu & basic options. You can't really pause the game or exit from a fight without closing the game. The options (which may include difficulty changing if you desire that) have not been translated.
Pros
+Fun simple fight system +Variety of characters
Mix?
~Online play difficult to setup due to it being an older engine fighting game ~Can feel a bit overwhelming at first until you get used to clunkiness and juggle system
Cons
-Lacking in game features and translated options -Patch unlikely to be available All this being said should you jump in and buy this game. I'm going to say only if you heavily enjoy fighter maker games and are willing to accept the rough edges of an older system. Eight dollars is a bit high in my opinion with what you are getting out of this fighting game, so if you really need a 2d monster girl fighter in your life; wait for a sale.
This game is a mess. Poor controller support, in ability to properly navigate the menus and the game is more uninspired in gameplay the the Mavel, Mortal Kombat and Tekken mobile games. As a longtime Fighter fan I will never recomnd this game.
Ok, a monstergirl fighter... main issues: It's made in Fighter Maker. It is low-res at best, and lack of real controller support makes this a game I cannot recommend.
Great game, would buy again
