Incredible and emotional from start to finish, some of the puzzles can be a little frustrating but they are doable with some neuron activation
great game, made me tear up near the end
MOLE is an exceptionally rare cosmic horror game that entirely bridges the emotional gap between the player and its characters. The journey begins in a surreal reinterpretation of the Elysian Fields as we dig the grave of our deceased son. This opening perfectly establishes the game's core theme: the complete denial of loss. We soon learn that the very concept of death in this world has been broken by a mysterious radio signal emanating from the Earth's core—a signal that allows the living to hear those who have passed away. You play as part of a crew operating a massive drilling machine to reach this source signal, but the true journey is navigating your own grief along the way. The narrative delivery is phenomenal being easily the most impactful storytelling I’ve experienced since 1000xResist. You are kept constantly on edge, second-guessing reality as the game seamlessly weaves surreal dreamscapes into the waking world to toy with your perception. Gameplay-wise, MOLE does something very interesting. Often, heavy narrative indie games suffer from overly simplified gameplay loops due to budget constraints typical of indie projects. While the mechanics here are streamlined, I discovered a surprising amount of depth as I learned to pilot the driller alone. There is absolutely zero hand-holding or tutorializing, yet the progression feels completely organic if you just pay attention to the environment's visual cues. The soundtrack is incredible, featuring several tracks I'll be adding to my daily rotation. Visually, the game holds its own, and the art direction really shines, particularly as you approach the finale. Ultimately, this is an exceptionally well-thought-out experience. It stands as a haunting warning of how we can destroy our own futures if we cling too tightly to the past. An absolute masterpiece of the genre.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Short but a good length for the story. Story is weighty and plays out well. Chase scenes scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. Puzzles are interesting. Similar feel to Signalis.
Interesting and immersive story, good scares. Follows a story more than focusing on horror. Overall Good game
Short but very satisfying. I did encounter one bug at one point that required redoing a 5 min segment of the game twice.
Incredible, may be my favorite horror game yet
Dig.
