Pilot the MOLE, a monstrous post-war drilling machine built to descend deep below the Slavic soil. Fix failing systems, follow voices of the dead, and pray you can survive whatever is sharing your coffin. Will the vessel or your mind break first?

About
MOLE is a psychological horror experience with tactile simulation elements about madness, faith, and the depths we choose to dig. You are the Navigator aboard a deep-bore vessel, a colossal drilling machine. But the crew is gone. The vessel is silent. And the Signal won’t stop calling.
Spiral into your own history as fragments of your memory surface with choices that refuse to stay buried. Interact with the vessel's complex systems, solve diegetic puzzles, and unravel the mystery behind your missing crew.
Keep the vessel alive as you descend into impossible depths at the cost of your sanity eroding.

Reviews
Bought it on a whim after seeing a short review for the demo, ended up being a great decision. Truly incredible atmosphere and scares throughout the game, and though my laptop was just barely able to run this game, it really was worth it

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolute cinema very scary and very good sad story
Классная игра с глубоким сюжетом. Залетай, если готов погрузиться в самые недры. И самое главное. КОПАЙ.
Having MOLE being described to you as the lovechild of Iron Lung and Mouthwashing puts you in a very specific headspace, gives you a feeling, a vibe for what to expect. It will not be what you get though. But the vibe is still there, so if that description intrigues you, you do want to play this game, trust me. Many a thing sets MOLE apart from its surface-level influences, from the narrative structure to its phenomenal, "tactile" controls, and every bit is a step in a right direction. To me, nothing fell flat, nothing gave a feeling of "yeah I see what you try there, but...". Nah, every bit a hit. Given the decisions the devs made with MOLE, it is actually surprising how well it all works together. Things like chase sequences, timed sequences, labyrinths and the like easily veer off into the annoying if not handled *just right*. Well, guess what, MOLE does just that. The stress levels - at least for me, and I'm easily stressed in horror games - were always just below the red. Exhausting at times, yes, but never to the point where iut was too much. A few words of warning though: This is psychological horror at its finest. The overall mood is "slav-depressing" as I like to call it. The game tackles tough topics, and it's no real spoiler to say the death of a child is a main one. Whether it has a happy end is very much open to interpretation. If you are prepared for this, MOLE is a fantastic experience. Just don't say I didn't warn you.
Excellent game. Puzzles make you think but aren't too challenging, the story is unwound in a way that requires some thought but isn't too hard to grasp, and the game is paced remarkably well overall for a 2-3hr indie horror game. Also great if you like puzzles with mechanical moving parts, 70's/80's-style computer terminals, and a cultural overreliance on cassette tapes. Excellent balance and pacing. Big recommend.
Incredibly well-made horror aboard a drill digging deep under the earth. It constantly evolves and tests you over its runtime, yet somehow manages to tie everything together so tightly as to fill you with fear and anxiety. Highly recommended.
absolute cinema
decent short story, ending is cool
