My gambling addict friend said if I post a review on Modern Air Combat: Beyond Visual Range and it gets 350 likes and 150 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka . So I'm just gonna leave this here.

Done very poorly; the control surfaces don't work, no pilot model, unrealistic flight model, no proper radar, in game the amraams are called the C model even though are the D. No notching implemented, Missile flight dynamics are actually terrible, No hotas support (i have x56 and some old rudder pedals) and chaff and flare are not implemented correctly either. Play this game if you want to, there are many better experiences on the market that i would recommend though.

I enjoyed playing it after initial hiccups!! Watch: https://youtu.be/9vR1z9HoIeg Watch: 3 Vs 1 Scenario: https://youtu.be/b71gxzodvCs Few improvements needed: Having approaching/receding missile in the radar display will be helpful. Ability to save settings. Option to fire flares. Currently that key is missing. Option to see the display and tracking of fired missiles. At the end, show the scores of both teams. Currently, only a message appears that your team won or lost.
I kinda suck at it, but it's neat to see how big the world is and how many enemies can be on a single map. The multiplayer is functional and it's amusing to play with friends who actually know something about air to air combat while I bumble around. It's fairly basic, but it's essentially a free-to-play proof of concept. Give it a go, I recommend it with friends.
It's free, and visually, it's pretty appealing. But that's it. The gameplay is stale, there is no playerbase, and it is very badly optimised, using 100% of my GPU on my native settings, with mind you, no graphical setting options outside of resolution. Not even worth the try, to be honest.
Its free soooo... I wanted to use gamepad, but they default controls are trash so i tried to change it only to find out, the game acted like I wasn't using one, so when i went to clear the control for the thruster, it wouldn't let me set it to anything. it also wouldn't let me set the controls back to default, and since I cleared the button on the thruster, i no longer had a thruster. so i was forced to use mouse and keyboard, which also is trash. even uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and it still didn't set the controls back to default. secondly, the camera set-up makes the weapons unusable. this game is so bad, the buddy who downloaded and played it with me uninstalled it and ran a virus scanner on his computer because he thinks it is a scam game to put something on your computer lol. AI can lock onto you before you can lock onto it. takes so dang long to get to the enemy to instantly be locked and killed before you have any chance of fighting back. only thing about this game that even remotely doesn't suck is its free. only way this game is worth playing, is if you are the one getting paid to play it, and that is even a stretch.
Its a good game, however doesn't interest me, but i hope its player base will grow as its a good game The only thing i would ask for is a tutorial!
It seems like a fun multiplayer game even thought dogfight games aren't my favorite. I will be curious to see how this game develops. I enjoy the scope of it.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is War Thunder from Temu. Two planes, almost certainly asset flipped, laughably badly generated terrain, terrible controls, terrible flight simulation... this truly has to be the worst flight sim on Steam. And flight sims are a niche market, there really are very few of them. So that's quite an achievement. So, Modern Air Combat: Beyond Visual Range is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the . They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
