A slow but peaceful ride down the river. Peaceful, yet somethings bothers you. Pros: - The paint-on-canvas textures make for a cool setting - Fishing mechanics are simple, fast, and slightly varied enough to stay engaging - Cool seeing all the uniquely painted fish you catch - Fun to get different endings which unlock new modes - Story feels personal and ties the world together - Works flawlessly on Steam Deck (besides the over-inflated 60+ hours from being on sleep mode) Cons: - Slower paced experience than I typically enjoy - Cannot actually drive the boat - Gameplay is okay comapred to story and atmosphere Overall a unique experience for those that enjoy short-story games at a sub-$10 price point. Bonus points for being a fishing game.
