3/10 A 15-puzzle with AI generated manga images, nonsensical text, and very low quality. What is it: A 15-puzzle, given an image split into several tiles and one gap, you slide tiles into the gap until you reconstruct the image. Of course, it’s not always 15 tiles, the game makes you solve each image in increasing difficulty from 3x3 to 9x9. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3498423708 But this is a very low effort release. The images are AI generated and not that interesting. The text displayed after each image is just some random thing the characters in the image may be screaming, and doesn’t make an interesting story. Quitting the game does not keep your progress and next time you’ll have to start over. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3498422982 Overall, it’s just a basic 15-puzzle with no incentive to play it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3498421086
For more puzzle game reviews, news and everything puzzle-related, follow Puzzle Lovers and check out our Steam group.
I enjoy these types of games and the art is nice. Some achievements won't unlock even though I've completed them which is a bit disappointing. The game would also benefit from being able to slide more than one square at once if you're moving the column/row. All in all it's worth the price paid and I enjoyed it for 6 hours straight. Side note: There's also no way to go back and view the stories without replaying the puzzles or restarting the whole game as far as I know. Progress tracking is basically non-existent. I think it could use some more development in this area.
