You've been exiled to The Mirk - an unforgiving swampland where every step could be your last. You must constantly make choices: what paths to take, which tree to shelter under, what beasts to engage or avoid, what items to bring into the darkness of dungeons, and what treasures to leave behind.

About
..:: A Turn-Based Survival RPG ::..
Each turn, you must make choices - Spend your Actions Points well.
The swamp might overwhelm you, or harden your survival instincts.
While nature itself will be a challenge, the foes you encounter will be just as formidable.
The combat will be unique and puzzle-like. Weapons will have different attack patterns and effects.
Nights are cold and dangerous. A well-planned camp and enough firewood will increase your chances of survival.
The Mirk is a living place. You will create paths, set up camps, discover ancient ruins and mysteries, all while meeting unique characters and beings.
This game features:
Survival mechanics: Hunger, Focus/Tiredness, Energy and Warmth.
Classic RPG mechanics with skills, abilities, and a wide variety of items, armor and gear. The survival mechanics will play a large part here as well: Your steel chestplate will be great for combat, but not for climbing or keeping warm. Skills will allow for a variety of playstyles: from foraging the land, brewing and selling potions, hunting, exploring and looting, to trading, etc.
Randomly generated terrain, creating unique playthroughs while still integrating handcrafted location, characters and events.
A unique world with interesting lore, enemies, discoveries, and an eerie atmosphere.
Freedom of choice: An optional main story with a decent amount of challenges and quests.
Lastly: This game is under development - details, screenshots and videos will added and/or changed.
Please note: This game is meant to be challenging. You are expected to lose many times, and it will take time to learn how to survive. Dungeons will not be amusement rides designed for the player, but dangerous trials that demand careful preparation. To sum it up: Warding off the darkness with your last dying torch won't be easy — but it should be memorable.

The game is interesting. The adventuring is fun, and the developer listens to feedback. This game has good potential!
I have spent IRL hours fighting delicious, delicious crabs on a beach, and rummaging through rocks for bugs to sell, or if I'm lucky, to eat. I love it!

Good Game - Dev seems committed to updating it. Would definitely recommend it considering it's price.
very gud
I would say that is is a fun and rather interesting game. I need to play for longer, but so far it's been very interesting, and the art is good. The developer is very quick to respond to questions and I love the setting of these worlds, medieval fantasy but done really well. I would recommend this game. It makes me feel so scared when I don't have a torch and I'm hiding in a cave at night, cold, wet, and starving to death :torielsad:
Its rough around the edges, really rough.. I mean the game has 2 types of tree and cant even produce a simple wood crafting recipe for both types sticks rough. Somethings a plain stupid, burning fire you have a 50% chance of failing to light a twig on fire by adding it to the pile, the tempt to hover a stick above a burning fire, while failing to it catch alight, requires you to hold a rock in your other hand and an axe in your mouth. while I like to imagine the character doing a voodoo dance since the axe at this points is mystically decaying. Since the game is being patched and content is being added ill up vote this in the hope they finish the game and flesh it out, at this age you can just tell the AI to clone the recipe for anything that shouldn't be unique and it will do it for you. For now its a barebones but functional survival sim with at lease plenty of things to upgrade so it achieves the RPG tag.
Absolute recommend with the caveat that it's in pretty rough shape. What's here is great groundwork for a survival/craft adventure game mixed with grid puzzles. Real slow burner, most of my time was spent establishing camps and gathering bear necessities as extended travel can be costly and perilous under the wrong circumstances. That's the beauty of it, self sufficiency as you travel deeper and deeper into an indifferent wilderness, sewing pockets into its fabric to hold your tenuous expeditions. Currently that's the extent of what's worth showcasing, a proof of concept. With only a handful of explorable overworld areas, along with underworld elements that almost betray the intent of exploration and strategic thinking the game positions itself as. Without further development, any forseeable enrichments leading to deepening complexities and enjoyments are glimmers that at best promise a brighter future. Spend the 10 or so dollars to support the project if you like what you're seeing, what's here could arguable be worth that price already. I personally think this game naturally lends itself to community input considering how niche the title is. These types of games are rarely produced and the amount of people who appreciate them enough to involve themselves beyond the consumer level would keep outside influence manageable.
Oh man this is awesome! neo scavenger meets fantasy = instant buy.
