MiniTrans is a city building and traffic simulation game. Players independently build main cities and satellite cities, develop metropolitan areas and city clusters, and build various transportation facilities between urban areas to transport commuters to earn taxes.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Intro
As a macro regional planning games at the scale of metropolitan and urban agglomerations, players can freely plan and create urban areas in the huge regional space, develop the main city and satellite cities, expand the population, and determine the spatial form of the region, earn taxes by transporting commuters and facilitate population mobility. We have selected 15 well-known urban agglomerations or metropolitan areas around the world and divided them into various categories for creating.
Features
Covering levels of dozens of city maps in five types, with a long game time.
Familiar metropolitan circles and urban agglomerations, maybe there are cities where you live.
Regional maps based on real city textures and satellite images; multiple types of transportation and minimalist art design.
The data layer displays core metrics such as traffic flow, traffic density, population, road mileage, railway mileage, etc.
A tense and relaxing level mode, a more challenging hard mode and an infinite mode that provides players with ample funds.
Five region types
Bay cities
Seaside cities
Inland cities
Capital cities
Desert cities
Notice: now only 3 maps finished- Greater London metropolitian, Beijing (Capital-Tianjin Region), Shanghai (Soochow-Hu-Jia urban agglomeration). We haven't yet completed the final map classification.
Later Improvement
Optimizing the player interavtive experience and simulate a more realistic transportation system and taxation mechanism.
Further clarify the playing objectives and reward mechanisms, enhancing playability and entertainment degree.
The city map will continue to increase and improve.

很好玩的游戏,玩法让我感到惊喜
My plans last 3 seconds max
The tutorial does not explain the point of the game and it is not intuitive what you are meant to do
MiniTrans is a surprisingly interesting city planning game because it makes me think on a much larger scale than most city builders. Instead of focusing on individual streets and buildings, I am planning an entire metropolitan region with main cities, satellite towns and transportation networks connecting everything together. I liked this broader perspective because it makes the game feel more like regional planning than ordinary city management. The main challenge is figuring out how to arrange my cities and transportation infrastructure so that people can move efficiently between different areas. Commuters become an important resource because transporting them generates tax income, so every new connection has a practical purpose. I enjoyed trying to build networks that actually make sense instead of simply placing roads wherever I had space. The economic side is fairly simple, but it gives the planning enough direction. Developing population centers and improving transport links gradually expands the region, and I have to think about how much infrastructure I can support. I liked the slower pace because it gives me time to consider my choices rather than forcing me to react constantly to emergencies. The minimalist visual style also works well for this kind of game. The map gives me a broad view of the region and lets me concentrate on how everything fits together. I enjoyed watching separate settlements gradually become part of a larger urban network because the transformation is easy to see from the larger perspective. My biggest issue is that the interface and systems can feel more complicated than they initially need to be. There is a lot of information to keep track of, and the game does not always make every consequence immediately obvious. I also think the economic systems could be deeper, because once I understand the main loop, some of the decisions start feeling more predictable. Still, I appreciate the unusual scale of the concept. Most city builders ask me to think about what happens inside one city, while MiniTrans makes me think about relationships between multiple urban areas. That makes it feel closer to planning an entire region, and I found that perspective refreshing even when the management systems were a little rough. Overall, MiniTrans is a thoughtful little city building and transportation simulation with a different perspective from the usual genre formula. I enjoyed connecting cities, managing commuter movement and gradually developing a larger metropolitan network. The systems could use more depth and polish, but the regional planning idea is genuinely interesting and gave me plenty to think about. Rating: 6.3/10
As a fan of city simulation games, I can understand the message the developers aim to convey and the urban logic behind the game. However, this also reveals the game's flaw; it overly pursues simulating real-world regional development while lacking entertainment value. I can see the game's potential, but this is conditional on the developers refining the player guides and interaction design. Otherwise, the game is too difficult to play.
