Hello, was playing this game for about a week, and thoroughly enjoyed it, even with the bugs. But tl;dr, I cannot recommend this game as is. First of all, even with the limited selection of buildings and units, it actually has some rich strategic depth to the game. The combat is nuanced and interesting, and I enjoyed being able to tactically outmaneuver my opponents. I think there's a lot of design choices I wouldn't have chosen, but overall it was pleasant to work out what was happening. The problems arise with transparency. Barely anything is documented, and to figure out how things worked we had to experiment. There are key, crucial strategic things you need to know to be able to function in the game, and those with knowledge of it have a clear advantage, and these are things that should be part of documentation, like how timers work, how combat AI works, how fast things move on overworld and in combat. The community is absolutely toxic. One of the community mods flew a swastika flag and is named Deutschland. He constantly laments opposing ideologies and talks about how great Germany's people had it under fascism. This community allows this type of behavior from the moderation team, and he has banned players for calling him out for his behavior. So, if this kind of things bothers you, skip the game. Another community mod has gone on large rants about how much they dislike transexuals and their community, claiming how they feel is a choice and they simply need therapy to fix their issues. The mod's name is Fort Kick Ass and is one of the more vocal members against any ideology they disagree with and has threatened to silence anyone that disagrees with him. The toxic community also complains loudly about every exploit. And unfortunately, the admin rewarded them for their behavior. Everyone in the game was being hit left and right by exploits, some got their capitals destroyed, others had their territory swarmed. As long as you complain loudly to the admin, he would spawn resources for players. This only rewards the type of mentality that needs to suck up to the admin for rewards and gifts in order to succeed in life, and if you don't want to play "who can suck up better to the admin", skip the game. Another problem is the transparency. The game was being updated constantly but the changes were only posted on the internal discord for the game. At the bare minimum, these changes need to be posted to Steam. There was simply a huge lack of transparency in moderation actions and what the admin was changing to the game, and if you're not on the discord and don't want to be apart of the toxic community that harbors and encourages players that fly swastika flags by their moderation team, you're not going to know about anything that is happening in the game. So, unless there is some serious changes to the admin's and moderation team's status quo and transparency about moderation and admin actions, I cannot recommend anyone to join this game or this community.

Edit: The creator posts updates to mechanics in the game to the game's Discord. Any changes to how units work are made there and not reflected on Steam or in game. I've only heard how to do things like moving troops across water from other people playing the game because it was posted in the Discord and not from anything in the game or elsewhere. Game is rough. Really rough. So rough that it should've stayed in development more before even reaching Early Access. Basic instructions are still missing and fundamental mechanics are unexplained. The only way to get any news about updates for the game is not via Steam, nor in-game like 99% of any games, but via Discord. This is something that should've hit itch.io and getting some of its more glaring bugs (I've not even mentioned graphical glitches) before even approaching Steam
Cannot even get started unfortunately, cannot pick a cell, tried pressing on everything, everywhere, no response. Not worth installing untill this game breaking bug is fixed.
I'll briefly explain this game and why you shouldn't even waste your time installing it. Maybe if the game is functional in the future, I might attempt to play it for the 4th time. 1. The game doesn't work. Starting with issues connecting to the server, eventually my experience was completely ruined when I discovered that you are unable to even place your capital to start playing. On top of that, I'd say around 95% or more of the map was already claimed. This means that my only choice (if the game DID work) was to play between a few nations warring it out. 2. The game is so unoptimized, it made my computer with an RTX card that I regularly play VR on stutter terribly. The game even almost crashed when I tried moving my camera around at one point.
Finger weg!
There is only 1 server that everyone plays on so basically 80% of the world has been claimed already. Good luck claiming that other 20% because each unit has a movement cooldown that starts from 10sec to 3hours within 5 tiles. And with the new update, Upkeep costs go up the more you have. essentially punishing you for building up. This is supposed to give the new players an edge over the older/more established players. but I had been playing for only a week and I suddenly wasn't able to build things i was able to before. Yes you read that right! A WEEK! and with only 49 hours clocked in? I was pretty invested in this game but a majority of that time was spent, booting up the game just to see if my cooldowns where finished. If they where? HOORAY! i can move two tiles. then its another 5 hour wait. Pretty much every aspect of this game, boils down to a waste of time. TLDR:"Press F for 3 minutes of fun. then enjoy a 9 hour cooldown"
I can't even place my capital to start the game and the Discord didn't help at all
⠀
love the part where i cant play
It has seemingly been adandoned completely.
