This game is cute and a lot of fun, even despite the fact that it lacks tooltips in places where it really should have them
Don't expect much from this game. It's just a simple timekiller.
4X for people in a hurry
For $2, In less than 10 hours, I completed a dozen or more satisfying 4X campaigns, using nine races that all felt distinct. The complaints about this game are valid: the single-click interface seems touchscreen-optimized, some information could be better complained to the player, and the game isn't completely stable (I experienced one CTD in my time playing). And, yes, RNG might necessitate a seed re-roll, but that's hard to be mad about if you've only lost ten minutes by the time you recognize the problem. However, all of the decisions you make in this game are fundamentally 4X. Do I expand and stretch myself thin, or make my existing domain more robust? Do I build out my military to earn points through combat, or just double-down on research to earn points through completing the tech tree? Mini Gal4Xy delivers the 4X experience in a bite-sized package, without the accompanying feeling that you're missing out on the "real" game because you don't have the time for or interest in devoting weeks or months of your life to hundreds of hours of a marathon campaign. I wish there were more games like this. Recommended.

I'll try to keep it short as Mini Gal4Xy is. This game is a distilled 4X Strategy Game made with its base parts. It shows you a standard eXplore, eXpand, eXploit & eXterminate experience. The difference though is that this isn't a multiplayer game making it a solitary experience. This game is an arcade style with score building and randomness similar to Roguelikes. The reasons I give this game a positive review is that it is simple to learn. Which makes it a decent learning tool for those that don't know how to play or feel overwhelmed with other games of this genre. Think of it as a primer for people who want to understand the core parts of a 4X game. You use it before introducing the complicated stuff. Another reason, is that it has most faction arch-types distilled into it. A small, but welcomed positive. Flaws: *This is not made to be multiplayer, even though it feels like it could be. *It's arcade style has no ranking system, not even a built in one for local players. *Not much replay value aside from using it to teach new 4X players. *It takes luck & patience if you aim to get all achievements. (Don't worry about giving up, it's just for vanity.)
Nice small 4X game, could use a better tutorial, but if you get through initial rough stage, the game introduces new challenges all the time which makes it quite replayable.
This is a fun tbs game. It's like a cut-down 4x - it's all there but just in a very reduced format. What I like about it is it a game can be played in around 10 - 15 min. If you don't have a lot of time, or just want to listen to a podcast or music while playing something this is perfect for that. It could be an excellent tablet game. Recommended if you just want to put your brain on cruise control for a bit.
Simple, fun time killer. A lot of depth and replayability for such a compact game. The more you play, the better you do each time, the more features you unlock. Excellent if you want a space strategy game without wanting to invest an entire day, week, month, etc. into one go through.
In this video I take a look at Mini Gal4Xy a fun little turn based space exploration and colonisation game. It's turn limited rather that goal based and the aim is to get as many points as possible per play through for establishing colonies in the allocated turns. It's very cheap and very fun, I couldn't help but play it three times in the video. Unfortunately though it kept saying I had unlocked the longer play modes but then I could never select them? Possibly I need to complete it to a three star level before I can? The most I got was two. 作为一个文明玩家,这个游戏还是蛮有意思的。但是还需完善,很多功能没有对应说明,需要自己去摸索。 船舰卡槽没有对应说明,需要翻科技界面寻找对应功能。 界面在运行的时候有一些bug。 here is the message for developers, I found some problem there. for example the attack interface, there is a layer issue? it shows all the ships but sometimes not.(or it should show 1v1 ?) And, I hope it can have some explain in the edition interface of ships, because I not sure the function of card.
very good game with good music and story, and the way of playing is also very good
