About
MindsEye Campaign
MindsEye is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure thriller set in the near-future desert city of Redrock. You play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by a mysterious implant and fractured memories. Across a cinematic campaign, you’ll complete missions, uncover your past, and confront a conspiracy involving rogue AI, corrupt corporations, and unchecked military power, a threat that reaches far beyond the city itself.

The City of Redrock
Redrock is a desert metropolis where advanced technology is everywhere. AI and robotics control daily life, shaping everything from commerce to security. Beneath the surface, the city hides secrets, dangers, and conflict. From gleaming towers to industrial sprawl and remote outposts, every district is part of the story.
Combat
Combat is responsive and tactical. Outsmart enemies with unique behaviors, use cover and verticality, and fight in third person with a wide arsenal, pistols, SMGs, sniper rifles, energy weapons, and grenades. Your companion drone, DC2, is directly linked to your implant, providing hacking, scouting, and support in battle.

Driving and Vehicle Action
Missions place you behind the wheel of electric cars, muscle vehicles, buggies, and quadcopters. High-speed chases, desert runs, and industrial zone pursuits are designed to push your skills and keep the action moving.

Endless Stream of New Content
The campaign is only the beginning. MindsEye offers an endless stream of new playable content delivered regularly. New missions, races, puzzles, and challenges developed and released by the BARB team bring fresh surprises. This evolving world keeps MindsEye alive with new ways to play long after the credits roll.

this game for its price and scope was 5/10 at best - it was choppy and movement reminded me of games from 15-20 years ago, - story was quick and you never felt connected to characters. - combat was basic with very little more than run and gun/cover tactics. its only fun thing was using the drone companion but even that felt clunky. - after completing story i didn't feel it was worth trying any other aspect of this game.
Having played while it was free to try, I want to like this game. The story seems interesting and the combat and gameplay aren't too bad. The problems are the performance and graphics. This game never reached 60 FPS no matter what settings I used (ignoring upscaling and frame gen), though it was a playable 30-40 FPS, it's not what I expect from my $1000+ PC. Secondly, this game looks terrible. Shadows are super grainy, no matter what settings, being absolutely horrid at low-medium. Reflections and metallic objects all are very bubbly: almost as if they're moving. These are artifacts caused by Unreal Engine 5's rendering, though they are much more prevalent in this game than in most others. I cannot recommend spending any money on this game.
Alright so i got to play this game for free, and let me say I'm glad i didn't spend the money. I don't usually write reviews on games but this one i had too write about. i just think the story needs to do a better job at explaining what's going on. we were just going back and forth and than made the ending very underwhelming the real question is, Is it alien? Not really. It's an interdimensional creature or life form that can affect machines. Essentially making them sentient or at least, control them. By a virus they called Paradox or whatever. Are they trying to bring extinction? What is this 'Kin?' How does it affect Jacob? He explains glitches in his head and stuff. The fainting, the recollection in his mind. But I don't understand what his role is? Is he the host to the virus? It's implied that the virus spread through him. That he has the ability to affect machines. Even controlling his drone telepathically. i see the concept they were trying to go for but it was just all over the place, it seems they didn't know which direction to take. overall cutscenes were great i did personally like them and the start of the game was getting there for me until mid to end game just had me lost. than they hit me with a " The Sopranos " ending lol
Thank you!
Absolute. Ass.
Quer outros jogos do gênero?

I was very skeptical of the game after its launch because of all the people claiming it was horrible. I decided to try it out on the free weekend anyways. I was able to finish it in the span of approximately 12 hours, which was easy to achieve in the free weekend. The game is better than I had seen the consensus be, though it is far from my favorite game. It is very badly optimized, giving me around 60 fps on 50/50 medium/low settings at 1440p. The enemy and NPC AI are rather badly done, there is very little strategy at all to the enemies and the cars driving around the city aren't greatly done either. However, the gameplay is rather fun, much more so than most people say. The influence from the devs' previous work at Rockstar are apparent in the gunplay. The animation and voice acting are fairly good, though for some reason don't always correctly line up, and the subtitles have a few errors. The story is interesting, but has quite a few plot holes and unexplained details that would be much better explained. The ending makes little to no sense and is very underwhelming. It is a serviceable title, but has quite a few traits that take away from the experience. I would overall recommend the game, but not at full price.
