Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Now with public lobby support!
Mimicry! is a chaotic multiplayer hide-and-seek game inspired by games like Gmod Prop Hunt and Witch It!, where a bunch of cute lil' Mimics have escaped their laboratory containment to cause mischief and mayhem.
With your friends, up to 12 players total, play as either:
The Exterminators: Mysterious figures clad in bright yellow HAZMAT suits. Use a deadly array of weapons and gadgets to locate and hunt down the rogue Mimics!
The Mimics: Shapeshifting creatures that can transform into any object in the room to hide in plain sight, while they must consume other objects to sate their enormous appetite!
When a player dies as a Mimic, they join the Exterminator team, so you're always a part of the action!
Will the Exterminators restore order to the lab by eradicating the Mimics, or will the Mimics survive long enough to wreak havoc?
Mimics must survive by blending in with their environment, turning into objects and orienting themselves into an inconspicuous location.
However, Mimics can't just sit still the whole game! Over time, they will slowly start to get hungry, rumbling their stomach and alerting the Exterminators if they don't keep their bellies full. Fortunately, they can eat the objects around them by shooting out a small tendril to consume the prop and regain some hunger. Just make sure no-one's watching first!
If you are discovered as a Mimic, you can revert into your natural form and use abilities like the Dash to escape, and perhaps run to a nearby Vent that you can slip through. These abilities do cost Hunger though, so don't be using them too often!
As an Exterminator, use flamethrowers, grenade launchers, burger proximity mines (?!) and a whole arsenal of dangerous weapons to search rooms and flush out any fake furniture hiding there!
Exterminators also have access to powerful tools, like the Mimic Finder, which can tell them whether or not a Mimic is in the same room with them to help narrow down their search.
Dress to impress with a wide variety of hats and colours to choose from to make your characters your own!
Play with up to 12 players in public or private lobbies!
Invite friends via Steam or shareable lobby codes, or join public lobbies via the lobby browser
6 different maps to choose from, each with smaller alternate map variants for lower player counts
A variety of different Passive and Active Mimic Abilities to mix-and-match with
An arsenal of Exterminator Weapons and Tools to pick from in your load-out
Proximity Voice Chat
Xbox controller support
A bucketload of chaos and whimsy!

Got a chance to try this with a full lobby of 12 people the and it *slaps*. Very fun game if you enjoy things like Mecca Chameleon, or have played WitchIt and older PropHunt style games. There's also so many little secrets and easter eggs hidden around the place even the lobby is fun to roam around in while waiting. This will be a solid addition to our local catchup-friend-slop-shenanigan-games-pile
I played this game a bunch in its demo and the full game seems really good, even the lobby alone is a massive upgrade. I like the grapple ability. ... You should add wall crawling :)

A great game to play with friends (if you don't have any make some) a lot of chaos and charm, Don't expect a relaxing game where you can hide then walk off expecting to win you need wit, cunningness and determination. the game does still have it's bugs but tbh the bugs make it fun and also make for a great laugh and the new lobby design is amazing i love the little secrets and all the fun stuff you can do just there without even playing the game. love the studio love the game and can't wait to see where the game goes and any future games. 9/10 game for an honest review but a 10/10 for a biased review.
Guy's I havent had this much fun in a hide and seek game in a long time. This game is very much made by people who love it. My group spent nearly an hours exploring the lobby before we even started a game. The maps are amazing, and there are map sizes for every sized group. The passive and active abilities are very intresting, and allow for comboing to give you an edge against those pesky flamethrowers
An extremely wonderful game where you play as either a cute as heck little Mimic that loves to eat everything, or as an exterminator that REALLY wants to stop the little Mimic from eating stuff! It's a whole new spin on the prop hunt genre filled with little mini games and interactable items in the environment that really bring you back time and time again with your friends. - Highly recommended!
This game is an excellent take on the hide and seek genre with a frankly surprisingly orginal suite of mechanics to accompany the core prop-hunt style gameplay. The mimic's abilities all seem very simple, but combine to provide tools to greatly vary your playstyle. The maps are excellently designed to encourage differenty approaches on where and how to hide, as well as where, how and when to run once you're discovered, with the same suit of desgin choices having a similar effect on the loadout and approach it's best to bring as an exterminator. All in all I can't recommend it enough, It's great fun to play and a surpringly robust take at it from a genre that often relies purely on the fact it's fun to play games with your friends as it's only real selling point. Mimicry has that and a whole lot more!
Dance room my beloved.
This game has had an infinite amount of love and soul poured into it, and you can feel every bit of it for every second you play, and boy I've played a lot in demo and playtest. Keep it up Devs.
A very fun take on hide & seek (with prop hunt of course). The mimic's ablities to evade and escape exterminators to re-hide are fantastic.
