it's hard. it's frustrating, too, but not enough to where you want to rage quit. however, i didn't find the game fun enough to continue after the 3rd chapter. the mechanics are all fairly basic
Milli & Greg is one of literally thousands of lazy 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one is an action precision platformer that's been dumped on Steam after failing on consoles... yes, not only is this another crappy 2D retro pixel platformer, but it's a console port too. Could my day get any worse? Let's get into why this is valueless. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for. Because this is a console game, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Milli & Greg has an overly optimistic price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.
Volte aqui gatinho, pspsps
Pretty Celeste clone on a much smaller scale. There are no large interconnected worlds with several screens, instead, stand-alone 1-screen levels, whose difficulty is low-to-average on a precision platformer scale. 150 levels overall, can easily take you from 4-6 hours to go through. Chiptune soundtrack is neat, but unfortunately becomes boring repetitive after a while. Still worth your time and money (especially on a discount) and if you love the playstyle of Celeste.
Really nice game. I like the controls, and the level design. Not an overly long game, but well worth the price if you like 2D precision platform.
