For the price, and the fact the game has been released, I will review the game as a finished product. Miglorn is a simple, visually charming game, with little mechanics that makes the game easy to get into and play, the gathering is fun, being able to build a miniature army is cool, and the rush to get your defences up on night one is fun! However, once you unlock the anvil, the game kind of falls apart on the ruts it's been built upon. To me, the game aims to be a more combat focused forager, intentionally or not, but it fells kind of flat everywhere. There's only one source of food, berry bushes, and whilst there is an upgrade to the buildings that spawn them in, you could easily just build more structures, and once you snowball it's only stopped when you choose to stop. The only thing you're waiting for is the slow charge of the altar to allow you to spawn the resources closer to your base, otherwise once you manage to get an anvil out, the game becomes woefully easy, being able to source the materials yourself and not really encouraging you to build up your people, it feels more like a one man show, with people back at base to give you small increments of resources until you unlock the special totems which spawn in the higher tier resources All in all, this game isn't bad, but I cannot recommend this game at its asking price, and ESPECIALLY since this is a released product. If this was made by a solo dev, then that's really impressive, and I commend their work! However, it doesn't excuse how small the world feels, to the point the literal landscape doesn't matter. I wish nothing the best for this game, but if you're looking for something that's been better put together, I highly suggest 9 Kings or Border Pioneers

Buggy, graphically and game play mechanics. Things that shouldn't be tedious are.. like removing misplaced walls that don't align, or consistently show on screen. If i can drag (when it works) to place walls I should be able to drag to remove them. The hunger mechanic is broken so your "villagers" refuse to do anything even tho you have a stock pile of berries. I really wanted to like this game but the dev needs to fix things and then maybe I'll grab it again.
The potential ids there but the UI is killing all the joy. Maybe someday if it will be fixed to some more playable form..
Think of this like Necesse, being the same price as Necesse, but if the Necesse developers quit making their game after a week. That's what you get here.. Interesting foundation, but it feels abandoned. The core loop gets repetitive quickly, content is extremely limited, and the difficulty spikes before the game has enough depth to stay engaging. There’s potential here, but without updates or communication from the developer, it’s hard to recommend in its current state.
🏰⚔️ Feels like a rewarding survival city-builder—gathering resources, expanding your village, recruiting workers, and defending against nightly attacks creates a satisfying sense of growth and achievement. 🌲⛏️🏹🔥✨
Not fun.
Abandoned by dev. No updates since 2025.
cool
