Ground Graphics from early 2000, poor quality
The issues present are quite frustrating, but the experience overall is a winner. The downsized install file is a blessing coming from MSFS 2020. The support from third parties is also very high. Be aware that once you get into this sim, you will lose alot of money. But it helped me become a real life pilot.

i have had this game 7 hours and still aint got in a plane to fly anywhere i have the hotas5 controler and it is not even working seems you have to map all the buttons yourself . the game dont work without internet like fs 2020 dose . It looks fun, I was going to use it brush up on some real-world flying skills however it is completely on line and unplayable for me. The last flight simulator I used was FS2004. It was all installed on my PC. I used it for 20 plus years to supplement my real world flying. I thought it was time to upgrade. This new one won't even load. I live in a rural area my average Internet speed is 750kbs max is 1.3mbs. Microsoft flight simulator has completed abandoned its fans who live in rural America.

UI is so bugggy and the Sim keeps losing my controls and even losing my created controls setups. A pain ion the butt. AeroFly FS4 is by comparison superb, It might not have the fancy graphics but it just always works even flying Steam Remote Play. This is in 2026 having had MSFS2020 since it was launched. 2020 may have had some bugs but basically works. 2024 in 2026 is OK if nyou just accept all defaults and follow the career etc. If you just like to set up all your gear and fly casually like me it has been a nightmare so far.
Game runs around 60fps 1080p medium with my pc setup. 1% lows are around 35-40. Ik this is hyper specific but if anybody wanted to know the average frames this setup ot roughly as it will get i gotchu!

Almost 10 hours in and still downloading the content of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game on a 1000mbps internet connection. And now its decided to redownload over 160gb of content for what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason? Im litteraly never going to get to play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. What a waste of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money. Super anti-consumer from Microslop, make sure that the game only downloads inside the game so you're always over the 2 hour refund limit before yyou even get to play. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. Edit: After 13.6 hours it finally downloaded, click install, get to 99%, it freezes. 11/10. GOTY. It litteraly wont install the base game content without freezing making the game unplayable.
