Take the positive review with a grain of salt. If you're looking to have fun flying a multitude of aircraft and learn or hone your aviation skills, you will have an absolute blast. However, if you are looking to progress through the career mode, then get ready to have your heart ripped from your chest as this games bugs become glaringly obvious. Also, be prepared to pay real money out the ass for all of the weather and scenery that should just come standard with the game in the first place, if you didn't pay double the price for the "premium" version, but hey, that's micro$oft for you. That being said, the game is fun and engaging, giving enough variety of missions and aircraft to keep things from ever getting boring. Everything looks and feels great, even on the basic version.
