This game is Pokemon meets Slay the spire, but a bit easier.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Very fun idea of Super Auto Pets and the rogue like genre being mixed, cute art, lacks depth / artifacts / any facto that makes battles feel different from each other

Creative design but the game is essentially a demo. Love the idea of a slay the spire story autobattler but theres too many frustrating design choices and not enough content
I always find these games (see: super auto pets) unappealing because the RNG for progressing with each round gets worse and worse as the rounds go on and the creature pools grow. This game is actually worse for it - 20 rounds is too many, and without much to do between rounds besides reroll for the creatures you have, I stopped upgrading my party at all after round ~12. Fortunately the first level, including the boss, was so easy there was no point anyway. It's hard to imagine paying for the DLC when there's so little gameplay here. Building up my team doesn't feel fun, it feels like a chore.
Yes Fun
"Michi" is not a complete game. It's an advertisement disguised as a full game when it isn't. You're expected to pay even more money through DLC just to unlock the actual content... yeah.. it's paywalled, NOT free. This is a shady way to market a for-profit product, and misleading gamers for profit is wrong. Michi is a badly made bug riddled mobile app in-exile, trying to be a ripoff of idler battle games with some card management elements ripped off from Slay the Spire (making this an incredible derivative and inferior Frankenstein's Monster of a game), but you only get the full experience if you pay cash for DLC that removes the paywall. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $5 USD to unlock content needed for the full game through DLC paywalls, and I don't recommend you do that either. This looks, feels and plays like a mobile app. I checked the app stores and couldn't find it there, maybe it was rejected, maybe the developer thought Steam Direct was easier than trying to self publish through Google and Apple. Either way, this might as well be a mobile app. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. As an advertisement, this is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an innocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. They also have their hand out for a $5 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money from buying empty DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts. At the end of the day, my reviews are intended to help gamers find quality and avoid the dregs (with over 140,000 games on Steam... not all of them are masterpieces). If you think my review is wrong, definitely add this to your library, download it and play it... it's surely exactly the kind of game you'll love (but I doubt it will work out that way). Game reviews are for gamers to share their thoughts and help others choose where to spend valuable time. If my review helps you to grab or reject this game, then my job is done.
