You are a bug, what now?

I started this game as a normal human being. A few minutes later, I was an insect. Things did not improve from there. *Metamorphosis* is one of those games where you spend most of your time asking questions like: "Why am I a bug?", "Why is this happening?", and "Why am I actually enjoying this?" The answer is apparently: Kafka. The world is strange, the story is strange, the characters are strange, and somehow it all works. Crawling across walls and ceilings turns everyday objects into giant obstacle courses, which is both creative and a great way to develop an irrational fear of office furniture. The puzzles are enjoyable, the atmosphere is unique, and the entire experience feels like someone turned a fever dream into a video game and somehow got away with it. Would I recommend it? Yes. Do I fully understand what happened? Absolutely not.

Surreal Kafka-esque where you become a cockroach; in fact directly from Kafka in many ways. Well done with good checkpointing especially in the 3d platforming sections and those sections were pretty lenient anyway, which good for this sort of game. Some of in-game "instructions" were a bit confusing, but that was probably just me. For some reason - the "junkfood" achievement did not fire on me, but I will probably replay the entire game for achievement purposes. [edit: was able to revisit through each chapter to complete the achievements - and junkfiood worked just fine this time]

i wish i had played this back in seventh grade so i wouldn't have hated kafka for the rest of my school years

Boaaah, hat viel Spaß gemacht. Leider, leider etwas kurz. Hätte gerne länger gespielt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass man kein Joystickartist ein muss, um das Spiel zu beenden. Ob der Länge finde ich den "Normalpreis" etwas hoch, aber im Sale sehr zu empfehlen.

натуральный кал. ты думаешь что ты жук и можешь везде залезть игра показывает тебе большую комнату но ты должен ползти именно тем путём которым тебя заставляет игра, ты не можешь идти дальше пока не прочитаешь что-то там. Тупой коридор для аутистов. Если тебе хочется поиграть в мире жуков попробуй серию игр Grounded, а это просто ♥♥♥♥♥♥ рассчитанная на "НЕ ТАКОГО КАК ВСЕ" гуля дебила который будет всеми силами защищать эту "игру" доказывая тебе что эта игра несёт философский смысл (здесь максимум философия на уровне дебила из 7-А класса)

7.5/10 Short and fun game.

本体全成就7h，之前demo种草的入手无悔，平台跳跃小作，但剧情有亲情有爱情有友情，画风和音乐有特色，剧情的首尾呼应和双Bad Ending都构成了回响，结尾章的打工蚁高塔和父子相见震撼到了。DLC没有翻译且挑战容易红温暂且先Pass..
