METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is a full remake of the 2004 classic METAL GEAR SOLID 3, developed and published by Konami. It modernizes the original stealth-action experience while preserving the core design, narrative structure, and cinematic direction originally created by Hideo Kojima. The game remains fundamentally a stealth survival experience set in the Cold War jungle, where players must rely on camouflage, resource management, and tactical movement rather than direct confrontation. The core loop of infiltration, survival, and boss encounters is intact, with modernized controls and presentation making the experience more accessible to contemporary audiences. Stealth gameplay remains the highlight. Visibility, sound, stamina, and camouflage systems all play a significant role in moment-to-moment decision-making. Encounters are highly situational, rewarding patience and environmental awareness. Boss fights remain iconic, often blending mechanical creativity with narrative weight in a way few stealth games match. Visually, the remake represents a major upgrade, with highly detailed environments, improved character models, and advanced lighting that enhances the jungle’s density and realism. On modern hardware, the game performs smoothly at high settings with consistently high frame rates, maintaining responsiveness even during complex stealth sequences. The story remains one of the strongest in gaming history, balancing political intrigue with personal character drama, and the remake preserves its tone and pacing without significant structural changes. Some players may find the design still reflects its original era, with occasional rigidity in level structure and older stealth conventions. However, this is also part of its identity, and the remake largely respects that foundation rather than redesigning it. Score: 9/10 – A faithful and visually impressive modernization of a stealth masterpiece, preserving its legendary storytelling and gameplay while making it more accessible and technically refined for modern systems.
pretty good

Metal Gear Solid 3DS Snake Eater was peak.
now i understand snake eater
Boss...
Very good remaster. Runs extremely well except for some cutscenes when motion is in play.
What a thrill...
Pretty... good
